We all know that the movie Captain Marvel is going to be the debut movie of the superhero and there are already clear claims by Kevin Feige that Captain Marvel is the most powerful and strongest superhero of the MCU and there’s no debate about that. We know that in the comics also she is one of the most powerful characters.
But, with the release of this new video on the internet we can have a look at something very interesting because the video is a must watch for all the fans who couldn’t resist or control their craze or excitement for the movie. So, for them, the video is down below:
It was Kevin Feige who opened this revelation that neither Scarlet Witch nor Thor is more powerful than Captain Marvel. But, I’m a fan of Scarlet Witch’s potential as I have seen in the comics that she is one of the most powerful superheroes of Marvel and having her already on-board, it’s hard to accept the truth that Captain Marvel is the mightiest of all. Kevin had stated,
“She is more powerful than any character we’ve introduced thus far,” Feige explained. “So that alone tells you that there’s a reason Nick hit that button at the end [of Infinity War] when he realized that they were up against something far bigger than they had ever been up against before. And having her on your side is hopefully going to change the balance of power in a way that they desperately need.”
Also, Kevin Feige talked about the future of the MCU with the Avengers: Endgame movie coming in order to give meaning to all this beautiful chaos, in context of which, Feige stated a lot of things earlier this year in an interview. He said,
“I mean, all of the things you’ve seen throughout Phases 1 and 2 and now through much of 3, the new characters always are important going forward in driving, shaping the future of the MCU. I think it would be amazing, another 10 years; another 20 films or so. We only focus on one step at a time but that’s all about continuing to surprise with the stories, go unexpected places, continue to play with new, fresh, unexpected genres and then introduce characters that people might have heard of or a beloved big fan base like Captain Marvel or characters like Guardians where before we made that, people had never even heard of them.”
Well, there are a lot of expectations on the shoulders of Brie Larson as she is going to portray the character of the most powerful superhero of MCU and by having a look at the trailer, we can say that it seems like the actress has done a great job.
Also, the big thing which we have is that Brie Larson was very happy that she got this opportunity of playing the powerful Captain Marvel and in order to see that, have a look at what she said during an interview:
“You have this Kree part of her that’s unemotional, that is an amazing fighter and competitive. Then there’s this human part of her that is flawed but is also the thing that she ends up leading by. It’s the thing that gets her in trouble, but it’s also the thing that makes her great. And those two sides warring against each other is what makes her her… Just seeing a character who says how she feels and says what’s on her mind and doesn’t let people stand in her way is incredibly empowering.”
