New Captain Marvel Poster Revealed: Trailer Coming Out Tomorrow!

While everyone assumed that Marvel will first give us the Avengers 4 trailer and then give us the big Captain Marvel story trailer, things are actually the opposite of that. Marvel is known to focus upon one movie at a time and it seems that Captain Marvel is getting the bigger focus before we could even get a glimpse of Avengers 4. And it actually makes more sense to do that!

Before we could get into the trailer news for you, we actually have a brand new poster that has been given to us by Marvel Entertainment, and you’re going to love what you see here. Brie Larson’s surely going to knock the ball out of the park and here’s the brand new Captain Marvel poster to prove that:

Captain Marvel going all Super Saiyan is just epic! Right along with this, we get the reveal that a new trailer will be dropping during the halftime of Monday Night Football on ESPN. We even got a little announcement teaser earlier tonight. Take a look:

This little clip shows us Carol Danvers walking into a hanger, a young Nick Fury walking in a Hallway and similar shots of Carol from the previous film. Tomorrow, the game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles kicks off at 8:15 PM, so we could expect to see the trailer somewhere around 9:45 to 10 PM. That is the time when the internet goes all berserk with all things Captain Marvel.

As for what we should expect from the trailer, it would be a proper long trailer unlike the first “Teaser” that we got back in September. The first trailer just gave us mere hints about the backstory about Carol Danvers & Captain Marvel, but this one will give us the reason for why we should be excited about this film. It will dive deep into the story, probably show us Carol Danvers spend some time on Earth before she meets the Kree and gets her powers.

It will also play around the story arc of Jude Law’s character which has been leaked by Funko Pop toy line as Yon Rogg. Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos might get a few scenes. Nicky Fury will obviously have a few scenes and dialogue and Coulson would also surely have a couple of moments.

But now that the film has spent ample time upon editing and the VFX, it probably will have finished the special effects for everything in the trailer and we can then expect some awesome looking action sequences in the upcoming trailer. Also, we may see the characters of Star Force in action! So there are a whole lot of things that you could be excited about.

As Kevin Feige mentioned, Larson’s portrayal of Carol Danvers will bring us the strongest Superhero of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and the new trailer has to establish that big time! Here’s what Feige said:

“She is more powerful than any character we’ve introduced thus far. So that alone tells you that there’s a reason Nick hit that button at the end [of Infinity War], when he realized that they were up against something far bigger than they had ever been up against before. And having her on your side is hopefully going to change the balance of power in a way that they desperately need.”

Brie Larson revealed the unique personality that Carol is, as she will certainly be unlike a hero we have ever seen. Here’s what she told EW:

“You have this Kree part of her that’s unemotional, that is an amazing fighter and competitive. Then there’s this human part of her that is flawed but is also the thing that she ends up leading by. It’s the thing that gets her in trouble, but it’s also the thing that makes her great. And those two sides warring against each other is what makes her her.”
