Avengers: Endgame –
Tony Stark is one of the last surviving heroes of the Infinity War saga. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in utter shambles and Thanos is smiling. He wiped out half of all life in the universe and the ranks of the heroes are now thinner than German supply lines during the Battle of Stalingrad. It is up to the founding members of the Avengers to work on undoing the effects of the snap.
And Tony Stark, according to this theory, will play a pivotal role in that. Some sources claim that Endgame will send Tony Stark into an epic cosmic journey across time and space just like the Mad Titan once did when he went searching for the Infinity Stones. Presenting – Avengers Endgame will send Tony Stark on a journey just like Thanos did in Infinity War!!
The teaser trailer for Avengers Endgame is already out and it shows us the current predicament of the defeated heroes. Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and the rest of the superheroes who participated in the Battle of Wakanda and managed to survive the ordeal are all emotionally unstable after losing so many of their allies.
On the other end of the Universe, Tony Stark is currently aboard a barely functional Milano along with Nebula. The ship’s life support has almost run out. But if you think these are Tony Stark’s final moments, you are sorely mistaken. It turns out that a new theory might point to the fact that Tony’s current condition in the movie is actually something of his own choosing and not of fate’s.
According to this fan theory, Tony Stark is currently in outer space in search of something that could give him the edge against his enemies. Like Thanos was searching for the Infinity Stones to complete his Gauntlet, Tony is too searching for something in outer space. And he has Nebula to watch his back aboard the Milano. But what is he searching for?
According to Reddit user Asongofparksandrec, what Tony is searching for is a way to create the weapon that allowed Thanos to become a God. Tony is searching for the secret dwarf realm of Nidavellir, home to the Asgardian weapon masters that created not only Mjolnir but also the Infinity Gauntlet. In short, Tony Stark is looking for Eitri the Dwarf.

Avengers Endgame Theory (The Mechanics last Tale) from FanTheories
It makes complete sense once you think about it. Tony Stark is probably the most important Avenger right now. Like Thanos correctly aid, he too is “cursed” with knowledge. He will use that knowledge to build a better Gauntlet for himself, one that would even be able to be wielded by a mere mortal like Iron Man. And then he would venture further into space to look for the Infinity Stones to complete his gauntlet just like the way the Mad Titan did.
Can Tony complete his mission? What about the fact that he is about to die soon due to lack of food and water as well as the fact that there is no FREAKING Oxygen aboard the ship!!! We do not know if this theory holds any water. In the days to come, the fans would probably pick this theory apart by pointing out some glaring holes in its logic. But for now, we cannot find any and let us enjoy this theory for the time being. It is going to be a bumpy ride ahead. Hope you all have fastened your seatbelts.
The last Avengers movie to be released under the MCU banner was Avengers: Infinity War. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artefacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
Avengers Endgame is set for release on the 26th of April 2019.
