New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Fan Poster Teases Fight of Our Lives

Avengers: Endgame –

Avengers: Infinity War was a paradigm shift in the history of comic book movie making. The film changed everything we knew about the genre. It not only culminated and collided every major subplot started by Marvel over the last decade but also made sure to coalesce them in a way that fans lose their minds. The mere mention of Infinity War is now greeted with honest discussion and enthusiastic giggles, the reason for this is the abundant love of the fans for the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Disney has done something that no media company had been able to do for a long time. They have transformed a niche geeky genre into the next cool thing. They have taken comic nerds from the obscure corners of their basement and put them in the centre stage. Their purpose? To soak in all the limelight so they can continue to perpetuate this franchise that has been doing so good.

The sheer magnitude on which the Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently operating will blow the minds of everyone involved, especially DC fans. A couple of amazing things about the MCU is the community that supports it. The 2011 Avengers movie was proof that the Marvel Cinematic Universe was capable of producing amazing storylines along with visual treats when it comes to creating films.

The first Avengers movie acted as the spark needed to ignite the fire inside the hearts of the fandom, and now that fire refuses to go out. A little-known fact about the MCU is that it is community driven rather than studio driven.

90% of everything Disney does with its movies is inspired by what the fans are asking for and what the nerds are predicting. We act as their testing system. They put little clips out and we create data on what we want to see. Not only that, but we also create other possibilities and whatever theory is popular is what finally appears on the screen.

Now, I do not mean to say that any of this is ideal or even creatively revolutionary but it is the best form of entertainment available for us fans. We are a part of this society that will forever cherish Marvel’s effort in creating a conjoined universe (because no matter what DC fans say, it is more than what they have ever accomplished).

That being said, reddit has become a hub for the fan creations on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is really quite peculiar how the reddit community of comic fans has embraced the existence of the MCU. Take this fan poster for example:

FIGHT FOR OUR LIVES – by mayank kumarr from marvelstudios

The poster takes a snapshot of all the original Avengers from the Avengers: Endgame trailer and puts them together on the same screen as each other. Not only that the poster also merges them together into this beautiful artwork and then teases the fans with “Fight of our lives” tagline.

The entire premise seems a bit shaky and is honestly on thin ice. But it is not the actual art that matters but how that art makes you feel and this particular piece of art sends jitters down our spine to the point that we are now quivering with anticipation.

The poster showcases all the original Avengers in their brand new current settings. Captain America is now without his beard and in his classic uniform. Tony is still stranded in space without any hope of rescue. Black Widow is roaming around the globe looking for allies and following the direction of Captain America. Hawkeye is now transformed into a completely new alter ego known only as Ronin. And Banner is in the Stark HQ taking account of all the losses of Infinity War.

The Endgame is, in fact, the fight of their lives. It exists to determine the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fate of the beings that dwell inside it. Do you believe that these characters are liable for the future fate of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or are they going to be extinct come Avengers: Endgame. I cannot wait to find out and I hope you cannot either. Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26, 2019, and it is going to bring the fight of our lives along with it. Up until then keep watching this space for everything Marvel.
