13 Things Confirmed to Happen in The Movie Avengers 4

The Marvel Cinematic Universe started 10 years ago with Iron Man in 2008. The world’s most profitable franchise has been on a winning streak and the streak is not about to end anytime soon. Avengers: Infinity War is a milestone but the journey has not ended yet. Avengers 4 will be the continuation of that tale and will leave us with an even more breath-taking storyline. What will happen in the next movie? What will happen when Thanos comes for his second reckoning of Earth? Presenting – Avengers 4: 13 Things Confirmed to Happen in the Movie!

 1. Stan Lee’s final cameo

Avengers 4

Stan Lee is the hero of the Marvel Comics Universe. There might have been ups and downs in his career but as Marvel Studios gave birth to the MCU, the popularity and the aura around Stan ‘The Man’ Lee grew exponentially. By the time Infinity War came into the picture, Stan Lee was a legend.

Avengers 4

After helping create flagship Marvel characters like Iron Man and the Hulk, Stan Lee was made to appear in cameos in movies featuring his own brainchildren. So when the news of Stan Lee’s death hit the newsstands a few days ago, the world was left grieving. Stan Lee will have his last and final cameo in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Avengers 4.

 2. A second trip to The Battle of New York

Avengers 4

With all the time travel hocus-pocus being in the rumour mill, the storyline of Avengers 4 will be revisiting some of the most iconic scenes of the MCU. One of them, and probably the first scene to feature the entire founding members of the Avengers together in battle, is the Battle of New York of The Avengers (2012). If time travel indeed happens, then be ready to revisit this scene again.

 3. Fallen heroes will be coming back

Avengers 4

Spiderman, Black Panther, Doctor Strange, Star Lord and a lot of other folks bit the dust in Infinity War. But here is the thing – Black Panther is Marvel Studio’ greatest cash cow. Spiderman just came into the Marvel Universe. They are already planning a sequel to Homecoming. Doctor Strange 2 is definitely in the works and GOTG Vol. 3 is also about to happen. All of this points to one simple fact – the heroes are coming back. But the question is – at what expense??

 4. Tony and Pepper will marry

Avengers 4

Tony Stark has had his own ups and downs in the MCU. Ever since 2008, he has been constantly on guard. He wants to protect the Earth and all the loved ones that reside on it. But he has become too paranoid and unstable. Even with Pepper at his side, Tony is almost ready for a mental breakdown.

Avengers 4

With the loss of Peter Parker right before his eyes, we believe he already is broken. But a holy union would be able to fix that. Tony and Pepper were talking about a baby in Infinity War., It is high time there is some ray of hope in Tony’s life.

 5. Loki is coming back folks (DEFINITELY!!!)

Avengers 4

Loki’s death right at the beginning of Infinity war caught everyone with surprise. Many would now like the reformed villain to come back from the dead. Here is the good news – Actor Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the MCU, has been spotted on the sets of Avengers 4. We still do not know if he is coming back as a flashback sequence or is he coming back with a full-on resurrection. There is also a Loki TV Show about to happen so things are starting to look up for the God of Mischief again.

 6. This is Cap’s last movie

Avengers 4

Steve Rogers is Captain America. Captain America is Steve Rogers. End of Story! There might be a new leader for the Avengers after Cap decides to hang his shield but there will always be one Captain America. Chris Evans’ heartfelt ode to his character in social media as he signalled his departure from the MCU after Avengers 4 indicates to the fact that Captain America is leaving the MCU forever.

 7. Ant-Man will be the key to Avengers’ victory

Avengers 4

Currently, the tiniest Avenger is trapped in the Quantum Realm after the events of Ant-Man and the Wasp. He has only been able to show off his mojo in Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp movies. In Civil War, his role was extremely limited and in infinity War, he was totally absent when shit hit the fan. Things are about to change for Scott Lang with the concept of Time Travel being introduced into the fold and the Quantum Realm being the medium for that to happen.

 8. Avengers 4 will change the MCU…..forever

Avengers 4

Marvel’s phase 1 was just some superheroes in tights fighting some bad guys. Phase 2 of the MCU was more of a story building venture, with the universe being prepped up for the upcoming Infinity War event. In Phase 3, the Infinity Gauntlet storyline took centre stage. But all of them happened mostly on Earth.

Avengers 4

MCU Phase 4 will probably take the heroes to space where most of the Phase 4 movies will be based upon. A lot of actors playing iconic heroes are also leaving the MCU after this so there will also be new faces in the roster.

 9. Hawkeye becomes Ronin

Avengers 4

Hawkeye has proved his mettle more than once in battle when he has managed to stand shoulder to shoulder with giants and fight beside them on equal terms with just pure skills and a bow and arrow. Hawkeye needs to come back in Avengers 4. Infinity War may not have shown much off him but in the next Avengers movie, expect Hawkeye to come out of his supposed retirement after Civil War and assume the alias of Ronin, a vengeful warrior on a warpath.

 10. Enter the Quantum Realm

Avengers 4

The Quantum Realm will be incredibly crucial for not just Avengers 4 but all the other future Marvel movies. Michael Douglas, who plays Hank Pym in the MCU, once was heard commenting something that caught everyone’s attention. He says and we quote:

Avengers 4

“The Quantum Realm, that’s the key. The Quantum Realm plays an important part in all the next chapters, I think, of the Marvel films.”

 11. Nick Fury and Maria Hill are coming back

Avengers 4

The end of Infinity War saw two unexpected deaths – that of Nick Fury and Maria Hill, his second in command. We know that Cobie Smulders, who plays Maria Hill and Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury, have been spotted on the sets of Spiderman: Far From Home. Since the movie is set after Avengers 4, expect the Director of Shield and his right-hand woman to make the cut for MCU Phase 4.

 12. Thanos will not be the only villain

Avengers 4

There have been subliminal messages surrounding this subject. The rumour is that Thanos will be coming, but he won’t be the only bad guy this time. After his battle with the Avengers and being severely wounded, Thanos managed to retreat.

Avengers 4

He will be back when the Avengers try to change the past but he will never be at full capacity after getting that level of a punishment from Thor in Infinity War. The rumour says that Thanos will either team up with another bad guy or will join hands with the Avengers this time to stop an even bigger threat to the Marvel Universe.

 13. New Weapons for Captain Marvel and Thanos

Avengers 4

The two most powerful entities in the Marvel Universe are about to get a major upgrade. In Marvel News India’s Facebook page, a picture of Captain Marvel holding a badass axe that looks similar to the one from her time in the comic books’ ‘Fear Itself’ storyline could be seen.

Avengers 4

Thanos is also about to get a new sword. Since the Gauntlet is damaged, expect the Mad Titan to gear himself up with everything latest technology has to offer to fight the Avengers this time. Avengers 4 will see a whole lot of new toys and a whole lot of action.

Avengers 4

The last Avengers movie to be released under the MCU banner was Avengers: Infinity War. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artefacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
