There are a lot of fans out there who are desperately want to get their eyes on the movie Bumblebee as the movie is going to be the sixth movie in the franchise of Transformers series and is the prequel of Transformers which came back in 2007. Fans of this movie are really excited as the first official look of Optimus Prime has been revealed and it seems to be the best version of him till yet.
Bumblebee movie is directed by very talented and famous director, Travis Andrew Knight who has directed a lot of films such as Kubo and the Two Strings, Christina Hodson is the one who has written the script for the movie, also there are a lot of great stars in the movie as we have John Cena, Hailee Steinfeld, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Ducker, and Pamela Adlon.
Also, historically we aren’t going to see the familiar name of Michael Bay right at the end of a Transformers movie which is going to be a very different scenario but there are reports that he is the producer of the movie.
As we all know that there are a lot of great characters in the movies of Transformers but the kind of fan following Optimus Prime have out there in the world is simply prime in comparison to others because we all want to see him in the movie and were also a lot desperate in order to see how Optimus is going to look in this one.
On Twitter, the official look of Optimus has been shared by none other than the Matt Ferguson, who is the artist of the movie.
Seeing the look of Optimus we have to say that the look is really interesting and also arguably the best look of Optimus we have seen in all these years in all those remarkable movies.
This look is simply the best because of all the things we are seeing on the armor of Optimus and also it seems like the look of Optimus is a lot inspired by the famous ‘Generation One’ look which came back in the 80s.
The picture of Optimus Prime’s look is down here and also the man who shared this captioned the picture with the caption,
This is how Optimus looks in Bumblebee and it’s freaking perfect. I want to do a poster for it, anyone out there at Paramount or Hasbro hear me?
With this designs, it seems like the makers of the movies are going quite close to the looks of Transformers we had in the cartoons back in those glorious days and aren’t following the trend of Michael Bay.
Now, if we talk about the movie then we have to say that the movie is going to be an interesting one as the official synopsis of the movie is really intriguing and fans are glad that Transformers are returning back in action after all these years of absence. Also, the official synopsis of the movie is down below and you can have a look at the plot of the movie.
“On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.”
It’s going to be the first movie in which we aren’t going to see the direction of Michael Bay and which has simply put a lot of pressure on the shoulders of Travis Knight, who is the director of the movie and while having a talk with Empire, Travis has revealed something about the movie as he stated,
“This film is Bumblebee’s story’s effectively an origin story, where we see how he became the character that he is, where he came from, how he evolved. The Transformers film mythology is massive, it’s expansive, it’s huge. This film is an opportunity for us to focus in on one aspect of that canvas and that is Bumblebee. He has his Autobot family, he has these baddies that he goes up against. That is an aspect of his story but fundamentally it’s about his relationship with this girl Charlie and how essentially they find each other and make each other whole. There are other layers at play but that is at the core of the story.”
The movie is going to be released on December 21st. Are you excited with the look of Optimus Prime? Tell us in the comments section below.
