Avengers 4 has become a film which is only based upon theories for now. Thank you for giving us 14 Million 604 alternate possibilities Doctor Strange! We are predicting every one of those with our theories. Now the latest one that we have has a major connection with Spider-Man: Far From Home as this new theory establishes how Spider-Man: Far From Home will take place after Avengers 4.
People are very inquisitive about how Avengers 4 is going to change everything for the future of the MCU. Last year when Kevin Feige was involved in Press along with Amy Pascal, he revealed that Spider-Man: Far From Home will take place just moments after the events of Avengers 4.
Now the final Avengers movie as we know is going to have a grand ending that is supposed to change everything! So how are things supposed to be so normal right after Avengers 4? How will Peter just come back to life and go on a vacation with his friends pretending that half the Universe wasn’t dusted? It is pretty intriguing if you think about it.
A question that arises in our minds here is whether Spider-Man: Far From Home takes place a while after the ending of Avengers 4 so by that time, things will have settled down and people would have gotten along with their lives. But that would ignore what Kevin Feige mentioned last year.
No matter what anyone else would say, Feige’s verdict can never be wrong so it is pretty confusing when you think about how the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home and Avengers 4 will be so closely connected.
To deduce that, we have a new theory that is currently floating around the internet and it states that Spider-Man: Far From Home will take place in the aftermath of when we saw Spider-Man on the bus in Infinity War. Because Avengers 4 will alter events by going back in time to prevent the snap, it will have prevented the invasion of Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian in New York.
So Spidey would continue his life with his school mates, he will complete his Field Trip along with Bus Driver Stan Lee and from there on, he goes on a vacation to Europe with his friends during his summer break.
This is how Peter goes Far From Home and unravels the plot of his second film. This honestly is a very plausible idea as Avengers 4 is rumoured to have a time jump of around 5 years after Infinity War. So if you do the math, Infinity War took place almost 2 years after the events of Homecoming, and if you add 5 more years to that, there is no way that you can be in high school for 7 years after the age of 15.
Peter and his friends are all intellectually bright kids so they cannot be failing in school till the age of 22 years. So, the post snap future that the snap survivors will have lived after in Avengers 4 will be completely altered and rewritten after the Avengers prevent the snap from ever happening.
Moreover, to make Spider-Man: Far From Home make more sense, they could actually prevent the events of Infinity War from ever happening. But that will erase 2 of the greatest Avengers films from the MCU timeline and that is what people would not want. All the character developments and interactions, the unions of different characters coming together and bonding will all be gone.
So the theory of New York Invasion 2.0 never happening debunks itself right here. But it will be interesting to see how Avengers 4 manages to relate the plot of Spider-Man: Far From Home so closely that the film just takes place right after it.
