MCU Star Mark Ruffalo ‘Infiltrates’ Aquaman to Surprise Jason Momoa

The Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Extended Universe are supposed to be two rival worlds, isn’t it? One is competing against the other so it is out of the question to think that their characters could ever be friends. Or is it? The fans make it sound like the actor and the Studios are at each other’s throats all the time but nothing could be farther than the truth. In reality, the actors of each universe are actually very good friends. Don’t believe us? Take a look for yourselves. Presenting – MCU star Mark Ruffalo ‘infiltrates’ Aquaman to surprise Jason Momoa!!

In a recent social media post by Mark Ruffalo, we see the MCU star surprising the hell out of DCEU star Jason Momoa who plays Aquaman aka Arthur Curry on screen for Warner Bros.

It was a usual day for Momoa. Promote his movie, pose with the fans and take pictures with them. That was going all well until a mysterious guy with a mask and a fez came along to take a picture with him. As per protocol, Jason Momoa put up his typical “surfs up” sign and took a picture with the fan in that pose.

After the picture was clicked, Momoa asked the fan to take off his mask. That is when the surprise hit face of Momoa. The fan we are talking about was none other than Mark Ruffalo aka the Incredible Hulk of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The video that was being taken showed that the two had a hearty laugh before the screen goes to black.

Here is the video we are talking about:

Sounds so freaking awesome right!!! As it turns out, the rivalry between franchises is practically non-existent when it comes to the actors who play out the character roles in their respective movies.

Mark Ruffalo and Jason Momoa

Momoa and Ruffalo’s bromance moment was a vivid example of how easy-going these actors actually are. Nothing can stop these guys from pulling each other’s legs and having some good led comic book entertainment.

Jason Momoa will reprise the role of Arthur Curry in Aquaman. The movie is all set to come out on December 14th, 2018. The official plot synopsis for the movie reads:

From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.

Mark Ruffalo last appeared in Avengers: Infinity War as the Hulk. The movie has already witnessed its Blu-Ray and Digital release. The official plot synopsis for the movie reads:

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artefacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.

What do you think about Ruffalo and Momoa’s funny moment? Do you still think that rivalry still exists in real life for these reel life heroes? If your answer is yes, you should look at the video one more time.

Aquaman is supposed to breathe new life to the DC Extended universe. James Wan has given it his all to balance the tine of the movie with dark and gritty as well as smooth and funny. The movie will decide what happens to the DCEU in the future. Whether it will break it or make it in the Box Office would go on to write the fate of the other future DCEU movies that are rumored to be a part of Warner Bros. upcoming movies’ slate. All the while, Mark Ruffalo is hard at work to shoot for and promote the next Avengers flick, Avengers 4, which is supposed to be the grand culmination of Infinity War. But as long as there are people like Ruffalo and Momoa around, we can expect to have some behind the scenes fun and action even the movies actually release.
