Guardians of the Galaxy:
The most beautiful thing about superhero movies is that the fans get too attached to the characters they like and love and it becomes very difficult for them when their favorite actors or actresses stop portraying those roles because of the end of their contract or sometimes because of some feud between them and the company. But the same kind of emotions a reader feels when they see those pictures or scenes of their favorite superhero dying in front of them. So, the most disturbing thing is to realize that a character you love is dying in front of your eyes and the emotions you feel tell the beauty of this wonderful relation between superheroes and their fans.
So, it’s happening as Marvel is heading to kill an important member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and suggesting a plan to reboot on a full-scale. If we move our eyes towards the film then we find that James Gunn has been removed from the director’s chair and with this thing of a reboot in the market, it’s possible that the movie is also going to follow the same path of Comics. So, the question is which Guardian is going to die and to answer that you have across an ocean of spoilers.
Someone is Going To Die
One aspect of Comic Books has changed over the course of all these long years is the death of superheroes. Back in the days when someone died, it’s hard not to search your tissue box because we all knew back in that time that this character is either going to go permanently off the world of comics or is going to return after a very long time. But, in recent years, the fans of comics has seen both in movies and comics that the death of a character always have two paths in front of it, either to return again with a fantastic entrance or to wave goodbye in style for a long period and most of the time we are seeing returning superheroes.
With Marvel announcing that December is going to be the month when Infinity Wars: Fallen Guardian is coming. The cover revealed all the five main superheroes of the team and left the fans scratching their heads as who’s going to die if all are there on the poster. The finale of the events of Infinity Wars is also heading towards its final level and clues and predictions are there of a Guardian turning into the side of opposition or getting killed. But, the synopsis of the movie has hinted clearly what we are going to see.
In the stunning climax of INFINITY WARS, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy makes the ultimate sacrifice. Look back at the life of a fallen Guardian and the empty space they leave behind in what’s left of the universe.
This means that we all have to pick Infinity Wars #6 on the similar day which is December 19th, to know exactly which Guardian has sacrificed their lives in order to save their friends and the whole universe. It’s interesting as, on the same day, Andy McDonald and Gerry Duggan will give their very own memorial issue of that Fallen Guardian.
A New Beginning
It has been confirmed that one of the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy couldn’t be able to survive the events of Infinity Wars, which added more curiosity about the events. But, the new beginning for the Guardians of the Galaxy also makes sense as the announcement of whole new Guardians of the Galaxy comic book explains everything with too many new cosmic characters on top of its cover which is entitled as ‘Who Are The Guardians?’
There is Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, Captain Marvel, Thor, and even Galactus also suggests that maybe the death of old Guardians is the agenda and also depends on the recruitment done by surviving members. The most interesting and off the beat rumors also suggest that maybe it’s going to be another Guardian who is going to kill the fallen hero.
Star-Lord On The Point Of The Knife
It has been revealed in the synopsis of the Fallen Guardian that a Guardian is going to die in the Infinity War’s last issue clearly makes a sense. The appearance of that hooded figure that refers to them as Requiem snuck behind the back of Thanos in order to cut his head off, and revealed them to be the daughter of Mad-Titan ‘Gamora’. The scene just shattered the whole team of Guardians and the wound of betrayal just got a bit too much deeper when Star-Lord got murdered by Gamora after trying to talk to her.
But, Doctor Strange was there with time stone in his hand and got success in reversing the death of Peter Quill and it clearly demonstrates how mad and committed Gamora is in order to kill his father ’Thanos’. She will try her best in order to recover the piece of her soul which is trapped inside the soul stone. The cover of Infinity Wars #6 clearly shows that Gamora is murdering Star-Lord once again, but real comic fans know that judging a comic by its cover isn’t a mistake they do.
Gamora Will Die Or Kill?
There are still signs and predictions that Star-Lord is going to be the one who is going to kill Gamora this time. But, according to the synopsis of Fallen Guardian, the fans of Gamora are going to have a pretty sad time as they’re also worried about her legacy. The possibility clearly suggests that she’s going to do the ultimate sacrifice to save his friends and the whole universe. There is also a possibility that the Mad-Titan himself will out the Fallen Guardian into their grave.
According to the Thanos Legacy #1, the plan of making Thanos killed by his own daughter Gamora is just a small part of the big jigsaw as Duggan and Donny Cates together writing the story of revelation and it makes sense to have a story of Thanos’ revenge.
The Lovable Duo
Rocket Raccoon and Groot can also be sacrificed in order to bleed their fans right through the heart and the buzz their death will create will be huge. The emotions and number of people who are attached with Groot are seriously a lot more in counting but it’s going to be a tough one for the readers. But, seeing Raccoon also on the floor is going to be a tough one.
So, a lot of questions are in there but the fully confirmed news is that the incomparable sacrifice and Fallen Guardian memorial issue is going to drop some months from now. Till then enjoy your holidays. Enjoy!
