‘Aquaman’ Behind the Scene Photos Feature Three Major Characters

The hype for Aquaman is really high and the audience is waiting for the release of the movie so impatiently. After seeing the trailers of the movie, fans are really hoping that Aquaman bring the tides which will wash-off all the bad things people say about DC movies because it looks like the movie is going to change the way we look towards them after what Wonder Woman has achieved at the box-office and also on the critics table. So in-between all this shout and excitement, we got our hands on some behind the scene photos from the sets of Aquaman and we’re really excited to see them all together on the big screen.

Two photos are circulating on the internet and fans are in delight to see Amber Heard who is going to play the role of Mera, as she’s looking absolutely stunning in the pictures.

On the other side, Jason Momoa looks like he’s Aquaman in the real life too. The face, the body structure, and his eyes, everything seems to be perfect with him portraying the role of Arthur Curry. The third notable person in the photos was the director, James Wan.

The American actor has explained his excitement regarding the movie and also the things which he faced during the shoot of the movie. He said,

“It’s unbelievable where we start in this movie, and where we end up. Right now, I’m filming all the end stuff and it’s pretty insane. I hate comparing things, but when I watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, you see all these amazing worlds and the places they go, and you watch Star Wars and they do battles in space. Well, what do you think is going to happen underwater? There are so many cool worlds we’re going to, and my character definitely goes on a big adventure and you travel the world with him.”

Mamoa isn’t the only one who has a lot of responsibility on his shoulders as the film’s director James Wan also has big hopes of the fans for this upcoming film as we all know how brilliant of a director he is as he’s the man who directed some of the most iconic movies of all-time. Some of his hits are; Saw (2004), Dead Silence (2007), Insidious (2011), The Conjuring (2013), Furious 7 (2015), Conjuring 2 (2016), and many others. The director told ComicBook.com something about the movie during an interview, in which he states,

Aquaman

“It was very important for me early on to be allowed to make my own film and to have my own voice be in there, After Furious Seven and Conjuring 2, I didn’t want to be a director for hire. After Furious Seven, that’s kind of who I was to some degree, but after that, I don’t want to be that guy again. So, it was very important for me to be able to bring my own stamp, my own visual aesthetic, create the characters. Even though Jason Momoa has somewhat been established Justice League, I wanted to bring his character into this, basically, fresh in a lot of ways.”

Wan added,

“So it was important for me to obviously pay a respect to where he was left off in Justice League, but then allow me the freedom to take him to where I want to take him at the end of the movie. My hero goes on this hero’s journey to become someone very different than where he started. That was something that was very important for me. But the movie I want to make, that I was allowed that freedom to do that.”

So, it’s going to be a big movie for DC in terms of their future and also for the reputation they’ve earned after producing the solo movie of Wonder Woman.

The movie has a very different and a fresh plot as it’s going to be the story of Aquaman, who is half-Atlantean, half-human who is reluctant to be the king of the undersea nation of Atlantis. He has the ability to manipulate the tides of the ocean, communicate with other aquatic life, swim at supersonic speeds, and possesses superhuman strength. Kaan Guldur portrays a 9-year old Arthur Curry, and Otis Dhanji portrays a 13-year-old Arthur. Thus, the story looks solid and people are going to witness the magic on December 21, 2018, in theatres.
