Captain Marvel – Ben Mendelsohn’s Mysterious Villainous [Skrull] Role Revealed

Marvel is now at the top of their game as they have stuck the big deal now by giving us a detailed look at a lot of what is going to happen in Captain Marvel. Till now, we all were wondering when exactly we could get to see Captain Marvel in her trademark suit. Well, we have not just got that, but Marvel has revealed quite a lot along with that. Here, take a look at Captain Marvel’s Entertainment Weekly Cover:

The Magazine also gives us the live-action look at her trademark suit. It has totally been inspired by the Kree suit that we saw in the set photos. It is safe say that Marvel has got things spot on! Here’s how it is going to look at the big screen:

It is not just this! Marvel has given us everything now. By now, everyone knows that Captain Marvel is going to be a prequel set up in the 90s. We are going to see Captain Marvel take on Thanos in Avengers 4, but before that, she will go up against the alien army of the Skrulls teaming up with Mar-Vell and a younger Nick Fury.

It was revealed a while ago that Phil Coulson is going to be back in his younger days as well, and we will also be seeing the two Kree people, Korath and Ronan the Accuser return in the prequel story. You can see the first look at Ronan Revealed above. Feige shared that the Skrulls are going to be the main villains of the movie and Captain Marvel will be based upon the Kree-Skrull wars.

The Kree, in particular, are going to have a significant role to play in this movie as they are going to the eventual build of Captain Marvel as the big Superhero we are familiar with. Check out the amazing look at some of the big Kree officials given above by EW.

We are also aware of the fact that Jude Law is going to be a part of the movie as well, and he is going to play the character of Mar-Vell, who would most probably be the General of the Kree Army. Marvel has given out two amazing images at Law’s Mar-Vell. The first one shows us him being the Captain of the Kree, and the second one teases how he will be training Carol Danvers.

EW has revealed quite a lot of details about the film. Earlier it was known to us that actor DeWanda Wise and Ben Mendelsohn also have significant roles which were undisclosed, but now we know for a fact that Mendelsohn will be playing the leader of the Skulls named Talos who is known as Talos the Untamed, due to his ruthless nature as a warrior and he is going to lead the shape-shifting alien race to invade Earth. Here’s the first look at the Skrulls in Captain Marvel, and the Skrull we can see ahead of everyone could be Talos himself.

Well, Talos is different from the rest of the Skrulls as along with his ferocity, he does not actually have the ability to shape-shift which led to him becoming a fierce leader that everyone is afraid of. But it seems that the MCU version of Talos will have this difference as we can see in the image below that Mendelsohn is in human form hiding in plain sight with the two Directors of the film.

Feige hails Captain Marvel to be one of the best movies that MCU will ever put out. Here’s what he said about the film at Comic-Con 2017:

“All of the Marvel characters have flaws to them, all of them have a deep humanity to them. With Captain Marvel, she is as powerful a character as we’ve ever put in a movie. Her powers are off the charts, and when she’s introduced, she will be by far the strongest character we’ve ever had. It’s important, then, to counterbalance that with someone who feels real. She needs to have a humanity to tap into, and Brie can do that.”
