Avengers 4: Jeremy Renner Tells The World That Hawkeye is Back

One of the most disappointing facts about Avengers: Infinity War was that Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) was dissed away by just a name drop along with Ant-Man. He is one of the original 6 Avengers but still, he was a no-show as the plot did not need him there. From the start of the marketing campaign, we did not get any Hawkeye or Ant-Man so people thought that he would carry a surprising element, but as it turned out, the audience was rather surprised by his absence! Thankfully, he will be there in Avengers 4.

None of the creatives behind Avengers: Infinity War promised Hawkeye to be in the film, as they only said that he does have a part but it plays later in the story. That led everyone to believe that he will have the most amazing entrance just like Spider-Man had in Civil War where the marketing material did not show him at all and then he had a great arc in the story. But the fans who went in expecting Hawkeye to show up towards the end were totally disappointed.

Before Avengers: Infinity War came out, here’s what Joe Russo commented on Hawkeye’s role:

“All will be explained when people see the movie. It’s all tied into the story.”

No one ever denied his presence from the film which kept the fans’ hopes alive to be shattered in the theatres. But we know one fact for sure, which is that he is going to have a great role in Avengers 4 which will bring the best version of him, i.e. Ronin. Due to the dark ending of Infinity War half of the population of the Earth disintegrated which might have caused his family’s demise as well. So to have his supposed revenge upon Thanos he will don the mantle of Ronin and go on a darker path.

Or the reason to become Ronin could be a different one. Many Rumours have suggested that he will be on a hunt for Skrulls who are hiding on Earth as the Yakuza. So to accomplish that mission comes in the Ronin. Whatever the case may be, we know for sure that Renner will be there in Avengers 4 having a significant Story Arc. He is going to have an amazing alteration in his look having a new hairstyle and an incredible new outfit.

The most anticipated reshoots of Avengers 4 have finally begun and Jeremy Renner has officially announced his return as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye on his new Instagram Post. Here’s what he posted:

Avengers 4 Hawkeye Jeremy Renner

Hopefully, Avengers 4 will satisfy our need to see Hawkeye. We want the typical Renner laugh! Kevin Feige teased the greater plan of Hawkeye in Avengers 4. He said:

“We [at Marvel] love Hawkeye. There are big, big story things coming up for Hawkeye and Jeremy Renner is as strong an actor as anyone in the MCU and awesome as this character. But ‘The guy with the bow and arrow jokes’, right? There are a lot of ‘Guy with bow and arrow jokes.’ He even makes ‘Guy with a bow and arrow’ jokes in some of the movies. So I love that people go from ‘Oh, Hawkeye is just lucky to be there,’ to ‘Oh, where is he? He’s not there? What’s going to happen? We need Hawkeye. We want more Hawkeye.’ I love it. It’s the best.”

Avengers 4 will be out on May 3, 2019, is directed by Joe & Anthony Russo. The movie will presumably star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Danai Gurira, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd, and Brie Larson.

Here’s the official Synopsis of Avengers 4:

“A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.
