Here’s The One Mistake in Infinity War That No One Noticed Till Now

Infinity War was a massive movie, but it was surely not perfect. Just like other movies in Hollywood, it was guilty of showing some mistakes here and there. I am glad to say that there was not a lot of those, but still, it was not completely mistake proof and if one goes on the nitpicking quest, they will spot a few mistakes here and there for sure. Well, if we rewatch movies, we mostly end up finding new things which we may not have spotted with just one viewing, and with Infinity War out on BluRay, people are coming across every little detail ranging from mistakes to Easter Eggs and references.

Here’s The One Mistake in Infinity War That No One Noticed Till Now

There were a few glitches in some scenes which only some eagle-eyed fans could have spotted, and that too if they were watching the movie on pause and play, going frame by frame trying to find a little element from top to bottom. In doing so, there was one very small mistake which no one really noticed. If you go through the big fight of Tony and Thanos at Titan and watch closely, you will spot a difference with Tony’s beard. Check the images given above and below respectively.

These are two scenes which feature one after the other. Right after the dialogue in the first image, Thanos calls Tony by his name, which surprises him and apparently everyone in the audience. While we all were busy deducing how exactly did Thanos know about Tony, we missed the little fact that in a scene which takes place all at once has a difference in Robert Downey Jr.’s beard and mustache. Tony’s mustache was thick in the first scene while it has been lightened just a second later!

Still, it is good that we did not get any mustache disasters like the ones in Justice League where an entire movie gets ruined by one freakin’ mustache! There were some other mistakes in the movie as well. There were two mistakes in just one scene when Thor was on the Guardians’ ship. Check out the images above and below this paragraph.

These are two simultaneous scenes wherein the first one, Thor puts the packets of food in a backpack, and in the second scene, the bag pack disappears. Now check out the third scene that follows this one. The bag is back like Arnold in Terminator!

Well, these weren’t the only mistakes that Thor made in the movie. Right in this very scene, he introduces the world to Nidavellir only he doesn’t call it perfectly! Right from the moment he first told everyone about Nidavellir, he actually pronounced it “Nivadellir”. Not just once or twice, but four freakin’ times! The spellings on the screen clearly showed it to be called Nidavellir, and even Rocket and others in the movie pronounce it the way it should be, but if you really focus and here, Thor keeps calling the legendary place “Nivadellir”.

Now we don’t really know whether Chris Hemsworth does it purposely for us to notice and the creatives allow it, or he just can’t say the word “Nidavellir”. Well, to be honest, it is a pretty long word and many of us might have called it the same way as Thor/Hemsworth. Hemsworth also tends to have an Australian Accent so who knows, it is still knit-picking at its best. It was fun to hear Thor say Nivadellir repeatedly though.

It becomes real fun when we end up spotting these little mistakes throughout a movie which would have been perfect if it was not for people like us. Here’s the official synopsis of Avengers: Infinity War:

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain”.
