Here’s The Stunning Connection Between Dr. Strange And Ant-Man

Avengers: Infinity War was the culmination of over a decade of movie-making, it was the epitome of Disney’s finale for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We see over 40 different characters and 20 movies worth of stories coalescing into one beautiful and tragic adventure as narrated by and centered around the main antagonist of the series. The entire plot of Avengers: Infinity War starts from the fact that Thanos is looking for the infinity gems. We know that the threat is coming and we know that Thanos will be an indomitable force who will bring every form of death and mayhem imaginable pouring down on the Avengers and their allies.

We also know that there is no one left in the Marvel Cinematic Universe powerful enough to defend the cosmos against the might of the Mad Titan. Odin is dead, Hela is lost to Asgard and Ragnarok after Surtur’s incursion and the ancient one is dead after a battle with the followers of Dormammu (Eye makeup made Mickelson).

Avengers: Infinity War – Benedict Cumberbatch Reveals The Fate of Doctor Strange

The main protagonist for the most of Phase 3 (Mainly after the death of the Ancient One and Odin) has been a coalition of Thor and Doctor Strange. It is mainly a ‘passing on the baton to the next generation’ story arc centered around both Strange and Thor and both of these characters were imperative in the fight against Thanos in Infinity War. We see a rather grim perspective in Infinity War, one where defeat seems the only logical conclusion for the heroes. We saw the Infinity War, and the electricity of anticipation was only matched by the silence of mourning.

However, after Infinity War, the Marvel Cinematic Universe released Ant-Man and the Wasp, the movie introduced the Quantum Realm and later *SPOILER ALERT* in the after credits scene reveals that the Quantum Realm also houses a time vortex introducing the route for time travel come Avengers 4. But there is something else in Ant-Man and the Wasp that has caught our attention, it’s the fact that Doctor strange makes a very short cameo in the movie. What am I talking about? I am talking about the small one frame cut in the Quantum Realm/Tim vortex where you see the face of Strange imposed on Ant Man’s helmet. It’s a very quick frame and easy to miss, but it’s a big hint. So what does this mean? Read on to find out.

With the introduction of the Quantum Realm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we’ve come to a time where anything is possible. Not only do the heroes have a chance to defeat the Mad Titan, there also exists the possibility of taking down one of the biggest threats the Marvel Multiverse has ever seen.

Although all of that is good and well but why is Doctor strange making a cameo in the Quantum Realm? And why is there a face splash of a character in a story where he has no relevance or doesn’t he? Read on to find the most bizarre and the most interesting fan theory about the Ant-Man and the Wasp and the Marvel Cinematic Universe that we have come across in recent times.

Let’s start, shall we? First of all, all fans must know that there are strong possibilities that the entire Quantum Realm is just a projection of the time stone and it is just its power inadvertently leaking out. After all, we know that infinity stones are extremely powerful artifacts, each housing the power of an entire universe and controlling an aspect of our reality. The discovery of the time vortex, hence, could not be a simple coincidence, not when there is a splash of Doctor Strange’s face to go with it.

Connection Dr. Strange And Ant Man

The fandom theorizes that there is a very simple explanation for this face splash, the fandom is of the opinion that there is the small cameo of Strange in the Quantum Realm because this is his image while he used the time stone to determine the course of action against Thanos. It is completely possible that Strange came across Scott’s Ant-Man while he scoured the 14 million variations of his future. It is also possible that it was Scott who gave Strange the idea of using the Quantum Realm to guide the heroes for time travel and hence set up the endgame against Thanos in Avengers 4.
