Thanos Vs Steppenwolf: Here’s Why Steppenwolf Will Be Obliterated By The Mad Titan
If it comes to the core Justice League vs. the Core Avengers team, Justice League may turn victorious, but if we compare the big villains that the two teams recently fought, one will surely come out on top of the other. Both Steppenwolf and Thanos are cosmic warlords who have achieved great feats in their entire run in the comics. Thanos recently established himself as the greatest villain of the MCU, but since Steppenwolf is a tough contender, we have to compare him to the likes of the Mad Titan. Thanos Vs Steppenwolf, Let’s see who taste the defeat!
Thanos
Thanos is notably the biggest villain the Avengers have ever had to face. He is the ultimate big bad of the entire Marvel universe and is famous for conquering entire universes in the multiverse. He just becomes unbeatable with the number of powers he has which are the Superhuman strength, durability, endurance, and intelligence, Energy manipulation, Telepathy, Telekinesis, teleportation, and Longevity. Along with this, Thanos gets hold of the Infinity Gauntlet which contains the 6 infinity stones that could wipe out the entire universe with just one blow.
He is known as the Mad Titan by the galactic community and the Dark Lord by his most loyal underlings. He is a very powerful cosmic warlord that rules over a very distant region in outer space. Along with all the powers mentioned above, he commands two massive armies known as the Chitauri and the Outriders. Along with his armies, his loyal generals who are also his children in the MCU are a part of his very evil Black Order.
The members of The Black Order include Proxima Midnight, Ebony Maw, Cull Obsidian and Corvus Glaive. He is also the father of Nebula and Gamora, and with the use of the Infinity Stones, he can control all of these individuals together and with the powers of this unified team combined, he could take out any being in the entire multiverse.
Steppenwolf
Steppenwolf is a renowned general of the planet Apokolips – a civilization of ‘New Gods’ who have devoted their entire life to nothing but one goal, that is, waging war. He is the uncle of the big DC Universe foe Darkseid, and he is also the general of his Apokoliptic Army.
Steppenwolf, ‘the end of worlds’ lived only to conquer other planets. His power is immense as he can not only take down the entire Justice League alone (except for Superman), but his experience as an army general conquering numerous worlds gives him an edge over others.
In the DCEU, he is as strong as Doomsday. According to a transcript for the movie, Steppenwolf has fought with the real Doomsday and he was easily able to stand his own against the mindless beast. His weapon is an electro-axe. He has the ol’ package of powers that every Superhuman with powers possesses, which is superhuman strength, endurance, durability and speed.
He is so strong that he is actually able to lift about one hundred tons and he can jump great distances as if he is walking. He is an immortal being having a high degree of invulnerability that actually enhances his strength and Armour. Along with his internal powers, he can use the powers of the three Mother Boxes which combine together and form the Unity.
Thanos Vs Steppenwolf
Thanos is the greatest villain of Marvel but we cannot discount the big DC villain who took on almost the entire Justice League single-handedly. Steppenwolf is a master combatant and can match Thanos blow for blow completely standing his own if a fight amongst these two villains were to ever take place. He may not be as strong as Thanos, but his battle experience may actually give him the advantage over Thanos.
To win against the Mad Titan, Steppenwolf will have to fight smart, but the longer the fight goes, the harder it will be for Steppenwolf to win. When it comes to using the external artefacts of power, The Unity is a strong artefact that could destroy planets, and Steppenwolf could use that to his advantage, but we have to admit that the Infinity Gauntlet which contains 6 singularities of unlimited power, if combined together would be much more powerful than the threat the Unity poses.
So with the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos would actually wipe out Steppenwolf with a snap!
