Thor Vs Ghost Rider: Here’s Why Thor Would Obliterate The Ghost Rider

This is a battle that would be really interesting watch if it does happen in the MCU. Thor is currently at the peak of his strength, while we have got the best version of the Ghost Rider on TV. Thor Vs Ghost Rider, So, a battle among these two would be nothing less than a true spectacle. Let’s analyze their powers and see which of the two will emerge victoriously.

The God of Thunder – Thor

Thor is the Son of Odin and the king of Asgard. He is the protector of all the 9 realms and possesses a magical hammer named Mjolnir which actually provides him the ability to control thunder and lightning and his flight. Thor is the only person who is worthy of picking up the mighty hammer, Mjolnir and the hammer is his ally.

Whenever he is in danger, he just sorts of calls the hammer and where ever it may be, it comes to the rescue. The Mjolnir actually allows him to fly, Manipulate electricity and weather, and transport dimensionally. Other than that his powers include Superhuman strength, speed, endurance, and longevity.

Even without the Mjolnir, Thor would be an extremely strong opponent for any individual. Thor possesses electricity within himself and he can summon that electric Thunder he possesses if the Mjolnir is not with him and this is called the Odin Force. Other than that, he also has a Magic belt which gives him various mystical powers and it adds on to his strength.

Now, In Avengers: Infinity War he gets a brand new Hammer-Axe the is actually even stronger than the Mjolnir. It is called the Stormbreaker aka Jarnbjorn. It helps Thor to fly, channel his mystical powers, might and the thunder, but along with all that, it can actually open its own Bifrost and allow Thor to transport wherever he wants to. So, with the Stormbreaker, Thor can’t just fly, but teleport wherever he wants to.  So, with the Odin Force on his side along with the Stormbreaker, Thor becomes really unbeatable!

The Ghost Rider is an Anti-Hero from the Marvel comics. Johnny Blaze is the first Supernatural Ghost Rider as he agreed to give his soul to ‘Satan’ (Mephisto), in order to save the life of his father, and in return, the stunt motorcyclist got possessed by a demon. During the night, when evil is looping around, Johnny Blaze’s flesh gets consumed by hellfire, and his head turns into a flaming skull. This version of Ghost Rider rides a fiery motorcycle and wields blasts of hellfire from his body, usually from his skeletal hands. Johnny Blaze eventually found out that he has been bonded with the demon Zarathos.

Other individuals that became the Ghost Rider are – Danny Kench, Alejandra Jones and most recently, Robbie Reyes. The Reyes version of Ghost Rider actually drives a black classic muscle car reminiscent of a modified 1969 Dodge Charger instead of a motorcycle. The Ghost Rider has some insane Supernatural abilities, as when Johnny Blaze turns into the Skull headed burning Superhuman, he becomes virtually indestructible and notoriously hard to injure by any conventional means, as bullets and knives usually pass through him without even causing any sort of pain. The Motorcycle he is famously known to ride can travel faster than any conventional vehicle and can perform such seemingly impossible feats as riding across water surfaces, up a vertical surface, and even leaping across great distances which the normal motorcycles cannot.

Even though the Ghost Rider is made up of Bone and Hellfire, he possesses formidable superhuman strength which is so immense that he can easily lift a truck and throw it across a road. Along with that, the Rider possesses the ability to burn the souls of the guilty.

This battle is going to be epic as the God meets the Devil on a pretty even plain! This battle has happened once in the Uncanny Avengers where actually Thor lost to the Burning skull. Here he did not have much of an effect against the Zarathos. Plus since Thor can be killed while the Ghost Rider is immortal, the argument does swing in the Riders favor.

But coming to the MCU, if you see how Thor has now been fully established and is at the peak of his strength, while the Ghost Rider is not even close to the strength the this Norse God possesses, you would imagine that Thor would literally decimate the Ghost Rider. He almost took down the Mad Titan having all the Infinity Stones, so the Ghost would not have much to do against him as Thor has not really committed any sins, and has only fought for the well-being of everyone.
