Zack Snyder Confirms The Existence of [SPOILER] In BVS Knightmare Sequence!!!

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was set up as the mega battle royale between two iconic DC superheroes but it fizzled out onscreen. It promised to give an ode to Frank Miller’s iconic graphic novel ‘Dark Knight Returns’ but it fell way short of embracing the spirit of Miller’s best work. The strongest character was Batman but the other two huge characters – Superman and Lex Luthor were totally wasted. Overall, the movie was disappointing for most critics.

Henry Cavill aka Superman admitted that some mistakes have been made and things could have been different. He said:

“There was a style they were going for, an attempt to be different and look at things from a slightly different perspective, which hasn’t necessarily worked.”

He added:

“Yes, it has made money but it has not been a critical success; it hasn’t given everyone that sensation which superheroes should give the viewer. “I feel like now the right mistakes have been made and they haven’t been pandered to, and we can start telling the stories in the way they need to be told. It is even better to come back from a mistake or stylistic error into the correct vein because it will make it seem that much stronger. Wonder Woman was the first step in the right direction.”

On the contrary, Batman v Superman was the cult classic movie for DC fans as they saw things that others let go. Zack Snyder is famous for including massive Easter eggs and comic book references in the movie, riddling each production with enough plot elements to turn it into Swiss cheese. Well, it is now getting a new interesting twist.

Batman v Superman is perhaps his most under-appreciated venture that only a few chosen and true fans could get and dive into. Snyder has been taking to his social media platform of choice called ‘Vero’ and revealing important plot details about his DCEU movies. Some of them have been incredibly mind-blowing and he has now revealed yet another massive Easter egg.

Snyder has confirmed the existence of [SPOILER] in the Knightmare scene in BVS. Can you guess which important DC Character we are talking about? We will give you a hint, it is not a hero. It laughs like a crazy retard and has the best jokes at hand.

As it turns out, the Joker is indeed a part of the DCEU. To be precise, it’s not the Suicide Squad version of the Joker we are talking about. It’s the infamous Jack Napier aka Joker, the clown prince of Crime, of the Injustice Storyline. It is getting really difficult to think that Snyder made a movie with no sense of direction.

With all the quality Easter eggs and character references being released and revealed to the public to gaze upon, Zack’s seemingly amazing vision for the DC Extended Universe is finally coming to the spotlight. And he has just confirmed the existence of the Injustice Joker in the Knightmare sequence of Dawn of Justice. This happens to be a detail almost every eagle-eyed fan missed.

To help you get up to speed, here is the tweet that started this wildfire:

Zack Snyder has done it again. He has turned his own haters to acknowledge him. The Joker reference is a clear nod to the Injustice storyline from the acclaimed video game and comic book series. This means that Leto’s Joker could have been playing a much bigger role in the DCEU than we realized. Judas, even in the face of overwhelming ridicule, unearthed this fact showing just how deeply dedicated Snyder was to his comic book characters on set.

In Injustice, The Joker uses a mix of Fear Toxin and Joker Venom to create a powerful hallucinogen to drive the Man of Steel temporarily mad. In this short interval, Superman is unwittingly used to destroy Metropolis as well as kill his pregnant wife Lois Lane. Superman then goes berserk with fury, kills the Joker and starts a global reign of tyranny to rule the world. Batman and the rest of the heroes do not agree with Clark’s new methods and lead the Insurgency against Superman’s World Council. Heroes from an alternate timeline are then called by the good guys into the Injustice timeline to aid them in their efforts to stop Superman.

In the Knightmare sequence, The Batman is seen holding a firearm with the Joker card latched onto it meaning Snyder had plans to enact the storyline into Justice League or Justice League 2. The presence of the Parademons and Darkseid’s Omega Symbol etched onto the ground in the ruined city, all added up to Snyder’s incredible vision.

It is still unclear as to what exactly Snyder had planned or how much of Injustice was to be incorporated into Snyder’s DCEU. He never got a chance to explain himself. The fans will neither know his genius nor do they truly deserve him. Snyder wanted the DCEU to be great. This Easter egg could have been the final piece to his puzzle.

Well, we will never know as DC is going in an entirely new direction. The big villain of Justice League sequel was Dark Seid originally, but now it’s going to be ‘The Injustice League’. In one of the post-credits scene of Justice League, we saw Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke being freed from Arkham by Luthor’s men and placed an imposter in his replacement. He goes on to meet Lex where he suggested him an idea of an elite league to take on Justice League. He said:

“We have to level the playing field. To put it plainly, shouldn’t we have a league?”

In the hindsight, we can all agree on one thing that DCEU needs to re-invent the wheel if it wants to stay relevant. Till now, except Wonder Woman, the rest of the roster has failed to connect with the comic-book audience and build a vibrant cinematic universe. On the other hand, it’s counterpart MCU is going all guns blazing and is ready to shatter box office records and blow our minds with Infinity War. It’s high time that DCEU brings its big guns.

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice is now available in DVD/Blu-Ray. The official film synopsis reads:

Zack Synder bvs knightmare

“It’s been nearly two years since Superman’s (Henry Cavill) colossal battle with Zod (Michael Shannon) devastated the city of Metropolis. The loss of life and collateral damage left many feeling angry and helpless, including crime-fighting billionaire Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck). Convinced that Superman is now a threat to humanity, Batman embarks on a personal vendetta to end his reign on Earth, while the conniving Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel”.

JUSTICE LEAGUE 2017-BATMAN-SUPERMAN

At the end of Batman v Superman, Man of Steel died fighting Doomsday sent to kill him by Lex Luthor. Soon after, Batman and Wonder Woman began to assemble a team of superheroes to take on larger threat looming large on humanity. The military general of Dark Seid i.e Steppenwolf is coming to collect all three Apokoliptian motherboxes kept by Amazonians, Atlanteans, and Humans. These are the most powerful objects in the DC Universe which could be used to bring dark order. The only force standing between Steppenwolf and total destruction is JUSTICE LEAGUE. Here’s the official movie synopsis, it reads:

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions”.

But when both Amazonians and Atlanteans fail to safeguard their motherboxes, Batman decided to resurrect Superman with the help of last remaining motherbox. At first, he was Black Superman but subsequently, Lois Lane restored his soul. He joined Justice League to bring down Steppenwolf for good.
