Avengers: Infinity War – Another Reaction To The Movie Praises The Villains

Avengers: Infinity War will be upon us in just 20 days and the hype for the movie keeps increasing as it gets closer and closer. Infinity War will be the greatest character ensemble ever seen on the big screen and it will interweave all the stories told in the last 10 years, starting from Iron Man itself. Since the build-up to this movie has been so fantastic, the anticipation for the movie is huge. It is expected to literally break the box office, and blow the minds of all the fans and critics at the same time.

The Marketing of the movie has been going on in full force and new things get revealed as every day passes on. Marvel is keeping things pretty close to the chest with this one as Avengers: Infinity War is going to be massive in scale and scope, portraying almost 76 characters of relevance and aspects of the last 18 movies coming into play in this culmination event. This is why, the premiere of the movie has been scheduled just 3 days before the release of the movie, and that is when you will get the general consensus to the film as the Embargo of the critics will also lift at that time itself.

For, now, Marvel has begun the press tour for Avengers: Infinity War and they will be showing the first 30 minutes or so to different audiences to test how the movie goes with everyone. Till now, we have only seen the reaction of Digital Spy as they got to see the first 30 minutes of the movie. Here’s what they had to say about it:

“We’ve just seen 30 mins of #AvengersInfinityWar. Can’t say too much but it’s way ambitious, it’ll switch tones between different groups (the Guardians sequence had a very different, look, feel and soundtrack to the New York scenes) and it’s going to be funny. Still no Hawkeye!”

Well, Marvel is keeping this movie pretty close to the chest so these guys could not say much about the movie. But, there is more good news as another reaction has also hit the internet just recently. Irish outlet Joe.ie got the opportunity to take part in one very recent screening event of the movie, as they got to see the first 24 minutes of it.

So, these guys had something similar to say about the movie as they also hinted at the tonal difference with one scene being too dark because of the villains of the movie, while some being light and funny, and most importantly, the action in the movie is going to be epic. The dark scene where all the villains are going to be present will probably happen on Thor’s ship where Thanos and his Black Order take down Asgardians, Thor, Loki and the Hulk.

The great action sequences will probably occur in New York where Banner reunites with Tony and teams up with Doctor Strange & Wong. The mostly funny part would be where Thor meets the Guardians after getting beat up by Thanos! Here’s what Joe Russo had to say about the villain of the movie, Thanos to ‘Total Film’ during the recent press tour:

“Our job when we make these films — and what we feel is important to us — is to surprise the audience. We wanted to tell a story that they weren’t expecting, and the story is told from the point of view of a villain, which I think is also really unique and risky for a commercial film that will surprise the audience. I think this is a market where the audience really enjoys innovation and disruption, and we want to do something innovative in this space.”

Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Infinity War will open on April 27, and here’s the official synopsis:

“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain”.
