Avengers Infinity War Gets A New Release Date

Marvel’s biggest character ensemble is almost upon us and fans are losing their minds waiting for this movie. This is the movie Marvel has been building up to from the time when Iron Man came out back in 2008. The first seeds for Infinity War were sown in the Avengers movie and we all have been waiting for Thanos to show up truly ever since he appeared in that post-credits scene.

The second time he came in was a scene in Guardians of the Galaxy that was the connection we needed to relate the Avengers and the Guardians. The third and the final time Thanos showed up was in the post-credits scene of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Ever since then, Marvel has been establishing Phase 3, bringing us to the culmination of whatever has happened in the MCU till now.

Now Infinity War will be the first of the two upcoming Avengers movies that is going to bring 76 characters of relevance at once, the most ever done in a movie. The cast of the movie as we all know is huge! The number of A-List actors appearing in the movie is insane and the number is going to be even bigger in Avengers 4.

Things have been pretty serious among the Avengers recently as they were divided during the civil war which happened due to the disagreement on the Sokovia Accords. Now the Avengers are scattered all across the Universe. Black Panther is currently ruling in Wakanda, Tony is working hard day and night to safeguard our planet against the upcoming threat. Spider-Man is in New York, being the friendly neighbourhood guy.

Scarlet Witch and Vision are living together, and Vision is somehow in his human form. Thor is moving towards Earth with Hulk, Loki, Korg, Heimdall, Valkyrie and the rest of the Asgardians. Doctor Strange is in the New York Sanctum Sanctorum with Wong mastering the Eye of Agamotto and learning about other Infinity Stones. Ant-Man is currently on house arrest as he returned home to his daughter after Steve freed him from the raft.

Clint Barton aka Hawkeye also returned to his family and supposedly retired yet again. T’Challa helped Cap and Bucky by putting Bucky back on ice and fixing his scrambled brain. Now Bucky has woken up with a healed brain and he is in Wakanda. Natasha has reunited with Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson, and the three are currently running secret missions, fighting crime in Middle Eastern countries. Nick Fury is in hiding, and the Guardians are protecting the galaxy in the cosmos.

Infinity War is going to unite all these Superheroes against the upcoming threat, which is Thanos and his Black Order. They will be coming to Earth in order to collect all the Infinity Stones so Thanos would be able to put them in his Infinity Gauntlet and conquer the Universe. The Avengers after being assembled will have to take on the strongest and the most evil villain they have ever faced.

The hype for this movie is huge and the fans want to watch this movie as soon as possible. Well there is a really good news for everyone as Avengers: Infinity War has shifted its release date. Earlier the movie was going to come out on May 4 in USA while many other countries were getting it a week before on April 27. But now, Avengers: Infinity War is going to get a worldwide release on April 27 itself.

This will not only make the fans happy, but it will allow the movie to earn more in the longer run since it would have had a lot of competition in May with Deadpool 2 and Solo coming out 2 and 3 weeks later respectively. Now, Avengers is going to have one extra week with no other big competition. The movie is already supposed to break the box office and become the highest grossing movie of all time, and this date shift will certainly help accomplish that.

Infinity War is reported to be 2 Hours and 30 minutes long which also makes it the longest MCU movie ever. Here’s the official Synopsis for the movie:

Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet ‑‑ the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this …
