The Marvel DC war has been going on for 4 years now and it all began when DC also decided to start their shared universe with Man of Steel. DC movies have been having quite the backlash even after making money on the box office as critics have not supported the movies, except for Wonder Woman. Fans have also been divided into these movies. Marvel movies, on the other hand, have had the support of the critics and the fans and have also made big bucks at the box office as well. Marvel is so far ahead and a way bigger brand, that DC is not even in the league. Here is a list of movies that prove that.

Spider-Man: Homecoming    

The first Solo Spider-Man movie in the MCU had a big opening as it was indeed the highest grossing Marvel movie in 2017. The movie was full of heart, humor and the action fans were promised to. It has a 92% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a 7.5 rating on IMDb, and made $880 Million at the Box Office.

Ant-Man

This was an Iron Man level origin story that brought in one of the most under-rated Superheroes and made him a household name. The feature took us on an insane ride of possibilities that we did not know existed. It has an 86% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a 7.3 rating on IMDb, and made a very profitable $519 Million.

Doctor Strange

 This movie introduced fans to the mystic arts of this universe and was a total visual spectacle. It brought to life Earth’s best sorcerer. The movie has a 90% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a 7.5 rating on IMDb, and it made a hefty $677 Million at the worldwide Box Office as well.

Thor: Ragnarok

This was the boldest movie Marvel has ever attempted, and probably the most humorous of all the Marvel movies. The third movie of the Thor: franchise widened the cosmic area of the MCU. It has a 92% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a very high 8.0 rating on the IMDb, and made more than $850 Million.

Guardians of the Galaxy

 James Gunn brought in a squad of outcasts and turned it into something we can watch repeatedly. It opened up the cosmos and took the MCU to define new possibilities. Guardians of the Galaxy has a 91% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, 8.1 rating on IMDb, and made $773 Million at the Box office.

Iron Man

This is without a doubt the best Superhero origin story till now, and it marked the beginning of this amazing Cinematic Universe with Robert Downey Jr. at the center of everything. It has a very high 94% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, 7.9 rating on IMDb, and made $585 Million worldwide.

Avengers: Age of Ultron

 Age of Ultron was not as amazing as the first Avengers movie, but still, no DC movie was even near this one (at least the team up ones). It has a 75% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a 7.4 on IMDb, and made a huge $1.4 Billion at the box office.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

This was certainly one of the best MCU movies and the best movie that came out in phase 2. It turned the MCU upside down and made us fall in love with Captain America. The Russo Brothers did a remarkable job with the movie as it has an 89% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, a solid 7.8 rating on IMDb, and made a hefty $714 Million.

Captain America: Civil War

 This was the biggest Superhero ensemble on the big screen ever, as it brought to life a remarkable storyline from the comics, and gave the very basis for Phase 3. It was the complete package of action, heart, and humor and made matters more serious when the time was right. The movie has a 91% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, 7.8 rating on IMDb, and made a huge $1.13 Billion as well.

The Avengers  

The Avengers marked the beginning of Super-hero team up movies as it truly defined a new era of movies. It was certainly the biggest movie ever when it came out. It has a 92% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, an 8.1 IMDb rating and broke the box office with a might $1.5 Billion.

The movie is just on the edge of hitting the theatres and is easily being called one of the best if not the best MCU movies. It currently has a 97% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is looking to bring in $165 Million within the first weekend itself!
