Marvel Superhero movies have certainly been more in number than the DC movies and they’ve obviously made more money at the box office. But many Marvel movies have been so good that they made more than a $100 Million in the first weekend itself at the US box office. Here’s a list.

The first Spider-Man solo movie within the MCU was no less at earning the big bucks. It brought in $117 Million in the first weekend. Overall, it earned $880 Million at the worldwide box office. Again Iron Man being there throughout the marketing of the movie did help it in a big way.

The third Spider-Man movie is the highest grossing Spider-Man solo movie ever. Even though the movie turned out to be a little messy because of the characters put into it, it still made $151 Million within the first weekend and then brought in $890 Million at the worldwide Box office.
The first Spider-Man movie was the movie that kick-started the Superhero genre for real. It made an awesome $114 Million over the initial weekend and later on made $821 Million in total. It became the highest grossing Superhero origin movie, but in 2017, Wonder Woman broke the Wall Crawler’s record as it went past Spider-Man.
Deadpool is the highest grossing R-Rated movie ever. The Merc with a Mouth earned a handsome $132 Million within the first weekend of its US release and later on it was recorded at $783 Million after the end of its Run.
Black Panther is the latest addition in the MCU and it was already being recorded to make even more money than Deadpool or break even with it. It is easily one of the top 5 MCU movies if not the best. Director by Ryan Coogler, the movie has broken Deadpool’s record for February and actually made a record-breaking $201 Million within the first weekend. If Everything went correctly then it could easily become the highest-grossing Superhero origin movie ever, and may be even the highest grossing Superhero movie ever.
