Avengers Infinity War Trailer Reveals The Location of Sixth And Final Infinity Stone!!

The Avengers Infinity War trailer is out and boy is it gorgeous. The heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe find themselves at odds with the most ruthless and unforgiving opponent Thanos The Mad Titan. The odds are stacked up against the good guys. With the Villain from space coming to Earth in search of his precious Infinity Stones, the heroes will find themselves in a fight they cannot possibly hope to win.

In the MCU, there are six infinity gems that Thanos needs to assemble an infinity gauntlet and control literally every aspect of cosmic existence. There are five Infinity stones that have been introduced but soul stone is yet to be discovered. Here’s what the Collector said:

“Before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots… Infinity Stones.”―The Collector.

So which of the Infinity Stones he has managed to steal in the trailer?

The blue one is the Space Stone that was previously used to power Tesseract during the Chitauri invasion at the Battle of New York. It is the first Infinity stone which allows you to be omnipresent and warp yourself in any part of the universe. It helps in opening portals that can be used for interstellar teleportation. It is orange in color in comics (although it has been shown in blue in MCU).

Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D said in ‘The Avengers’ – “Howard Stark fished that out of the ocean when he was looking for you. He thought what we think; the Tesseract could be the key to unlimited sustainable energy. That’s something the world sorely needs.”

It’s possible that the post-credit scene of Thor: Ragnarok will be the first scene of Avengers Infinity War. Why is Thanos suddenly interested in Thor’s ship? Well, at the end of Thor: Ragnarok, when Loki went inside treasure room to bring Surtur alive, he looked at Tesseract and he grabbed it because he is God of mischief. The ship will probably be destroyed by Thanos and Loki will gladly hand over the Infinity stone to him.

The other stone is purple in color i.e Power Stone aka Orb which we saw in Guardians of the Galaxy. Ronan, the Collector was entrusted with the task of stealing it but Peter Quill’s dream hampered the plans and decided that it would be better protected by Nova Corps. The Mad Titan must have destroyed Nova Corps and retrieved the ‘Orb’ that allows the user to have godlike abilities. It is red in comics.

The Infinity Stones of Mind, Space, Power, Reality and Time have already been featured in the MCU – The First Avenger, Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor: The Dark World and Doctor Strange. Necessarily in that order. But the Infinity Gauntlet needs six stones while the MCU has been shown to house only 5. Where is the sixth and final infinity stone in the MCU?

The Soul Stone is a powerful artifact in and of itself in the Marvel Universe. It allows its user the ability to control the souls of the dead as well as the living. The user can manipulate the souls or straight up steal them from others. Apart from controlling the souls of the entire universe, it also is a portal to another dimension. At maximum power, the Soul Stone can control all life not only within the Galaxy but also in the entire universe.

So the big question is – Where the hell is it?!?!?! We think we might have the answer to that one….

Kevin Feige gave us a crucial piece of info before the trailer’s confirmed it’s whereabouts. The Soul Stone, he says, will show itself sometime in a Phase Three film of the MCU. All of MCU’ phase three movies are already out, the latest being Thor: Ragnarok. The only one that remains is Black Panther which will release in February next year.

Black Panther is the final movie before Thanos comes knocking into Infinity War. The Focus will be on Wakanda and it’s Panther King. The earth won’t be facing a planetary level threat. It would be wise and logical to think the Soul Stone would finally resurface in Wakanda. In the Black Panther trailer, fans were introduced to an ethereal plane of existence called Djalia.

Remember the scene where T’Challa walks by a tree with a sky bathed in a purple hue? That’s Djalia. Djalia is the place that exists solely outside of Space and Time, and it houses the history of Wakanda and its people. Although still not confirmed, it is strongly implied that it is Djalia the Wakandan King is walking through.

The tiny nation of Wakanda is as isolated as it gets. It doesn’t share much with the world about what’s going on inside those walls. Vibranium is a precious mineral that Wakanda has harnesses to become the most technologically advanced nation in the world. But in the comics, Wakanda has been called the Golden City. What if it wasn’t just a name. What if the Soul Stone (which is orange in the comics) gives off a hue that tricks outsiders into thinking otherwise?

The Wakandan Soul Stone could be a way for the Current Black Panther to talk to the souls of his long-dead predecessors and gain valuable insight and advice from the former kings of the nation. Maybe vibranium isn’t the only secret Wakanda is hiding from the world. But Thanos is not someone to be trifled with. He has been closely watching Earth and waiting for the perfect moment to strike.

But how to capture something that is revered and held sacred by an entire nation? You invade it of course. Thanos and the Black Order along with their forces go to battle against Wakanda and it’s army in the trailer.

Maybe Thanos has decided to go full Schwarzenegger on Black Panther’s ass. He needs the soul stone. If that means walking over the corpses of an entire nation, So be it.

Avengers

Wakanda just might be home to one of the six most powerful weapons in the history of the Marvel Universe. Thanos won’t care if it’s an army or an entire armada. His dream is wearing the Infinity Gauntlet and wielding absolute power over the cosmos. Wakanda might be the only obstacle in his path. Time to use the big guns.

The studio has been building the hype of Infinity War over a series of films, so expectations of Marvel fans are very high, some even believe that the movie will not only break the record of highest box-office collections for a superhero movie but of any movie. And it’s heartening to see that things are falling into the right place.
