Superheroes are great fantasies we want to believe in. All of them may be different from each other but some superheroes have a lot or at least something in common. There are some aspects that make these superheroes cool and insanely strong. There are many superheroes in both Marvel and DC who have lightning superpowers but when it comes to the most powerful of them all we have no or little idea about it. So, today we will analyze the most powerful lightning heroes and finally find out who is the most powerful of them all.
Black Lightning is one of the first major African American superheroes to appear in DC Comics. He also set the trend of black electrical heroes. He had the power to generate electricity and shoot lightning bolts. His powers originally came from a belt, but this was later reckoned to make him a metahuman.
Static was created for the DC imprint, Milestone, and later became part of the DC comics universe. After being doused with a radioactive chemical by police, Static gained the power to create electric shocks and move metal objects. With his witty comments and science background, he was the black Spiderman. He was later named Static Shock.
Storm is a mutant member of the X-Men with the power to control the weather. One of her favorite uses of her power is to summon bolts of lightning. Electricity, always the electricity, and this is what we love about her. Except for the line she used on Toad in the first X-men movie.
Zeus is one of or the most powerful Olympian god. He has vast supernatural powers with a focus on weather control, but can accomplish nearly anything including shape-shifting, resurrecting the dead, and creating new life. Even though we love all his omnipotent powers, our favorite is still the Lightning Bolt attacks that he does.
The Flash has a wide range of powers, which probably makes him the strongest superhero ever if he uses all his superpowers to perfection. He is the fastest man alive, which allows him to run back and forth in time phase through objects and generate so much of electricity that he can actually throw lightning bolts.
Thor Odinson is the God of Thunder in the Norse mythology and a very popular Avenger. He is probably the strongest Avenger and is the one who is worthy of wielding the Mjolnir, his magical hammer which allows him to fly, and summon electricity and make lightning attacks. Along with that, he has superhuman strength, stamina, and durability and in the new Thor trailer, we saw that the God of Thunder wields electricity himself.
He is the alter ego of Billy Batson, a boy who, by speaking the magic word “SHAZAM” (acronym of six “immortal elders”: Solomon, Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, and Mercury), can transform himself into a costumed adult with the powers of superhuman strength, speed, flight and most importantly, lightning attacks. He can throw Lightning bolts, face through someone as lightning and can even teleport.
So which of these is the most powerful lightning superhero? Our vote goes to Thor Odinson who wields the Mjolnir and is also known as the God of Thunder in the Norse mythology. He has the ability to summon lightning and in the recent trailer of Thor: Ragnarok he is wielding the lightning in himself to fight Hela. Well, Zeus and Shazam also seem pretty close but Thor is our ultimate pick.
