The 7th season has been amazing by far and has had many wow moments. As Game of Thrones fans, we all keep an eye for little details here and there that could go on to become major plot points. Game of Thrones as a show has become a worldwide phenomenon and with every episode anticipation for the finale increases. You might have read numerous fan theories all over the internet and there is a huge possibility that a fair share of them might come true. When it comes to theories fans go crazy and leave no stone unturned. With every episode, fans are noticing little details to make sure they don’t miss out on something amazing.
With this let us take a look at the third episode of Game of Thrones season 7 ‘The Queen’s justice’ and take a look at a mysterious character who appears for a moment but looks too familiar. You might have noticed Cersei’s handmaiden who looks too much like her in this episode. In the scene when Jaime and Cersei are in bed there is a knock on the door, Cersei opens the door to her handmaiden.
Cersei does not mind her handmaiden knowing that she was in bed with Jaime because this handmaiden has been around for quite some time.
Bernadette is a House Lannister handmaiden and has been loyal to Cersei for a long time. She has appeared on the show multiple times but went unnoticed. She is the maid that probably told Cersei when Sansa got her first period.
She saw Shae and Sansa changing the sheets when she appears at the door and is threatened by Shae. She is also the maid that announces the arrival of Tyrion into Sansa’s chambers when he is about to propose. She also tells Cersei about Tyrion’s secret lover’s identity. So even though the maid looks innocent she is desperate to please Cersei and has shown her loyalty on numerous occasions.
In the seventh season of Game of Thrones, Bernadette appears with a pixie haircut just like Cersei’s which again shows her endless loyalty to the evil queen. There is a theory that her character has appeared for a reason and must not be taken lightly. It is obvious that Cersei truly trusts this handmaiden and might trust her too much.
In the past, we have seen some brilliant examples of how Arya has used some faces to kill her enemies. In this season alone Arya wiped out the whole House Frey with the help of her ‘faceless’ talents which is why it is possible that Arya might have another face available to fulfill a long-awaited task.
Arya Stark is not a soldier, she is an assassin. It is possible that Arya might not fight in her brother’s army and instead take the task of killing Cercie herself. She has talents that her siblings are unaware of (maybe not Bran). Therefore she should use them and kill Cercie with the unexpected blow. Cercie trusts Bernadette who can possibly become her own doom.
