Ed Sheeran First Got Roasted On Twitter, Then Roasted By Dragon?
Ed Sheeran, the popular singer, made a guest appearance in Game of Thrones first episode of new season and internet lost its shit without a reason. He is thoroughly mocked and humiliated on social media and it wasn’t very cool. Consequently, Ed quit Twitter after being trolled and roasted by Game of Thrones fans on Twitter. He said once that he doesn’t read his twitter account, but this time he just couldn’t escape the public glare and decided to quit which is almost tragic.
As far as we know Ed is a cool guy who is exceptionally talented at what he does. Some of the tweets are totally unjustified and ridiculously stupid bordering on cyber bullying. Here’re some of them….decide for yourself – Whose side are you on?
I’m forced to listen to Ed Sheeran songs 67 times a day bc it’s the only shit on the radio & now my #Gameofthrones isn’t even a safe place. 8:01 AM – 17 Jul 2017
I’ve believed in dragons, fire gods, & corpse armies but Ed Sheeran turning to the camera to say “it’s a new one” was a bit much. #GameOfThrones
I’ve had a really shitty last few days…but Ed Sheeran’s cameo in GoT was definitely the worst thing to happen to me.
If you feel the need to have an Ed Sheeran cameo in the seventh season, you should probably just end the series.
“Hello it’s me, Ed Sheeran, and I’m here to remind you none of this is real! It’s just a tv show haha, I’m Ed Sheeran”.

ED SHEERAN: I’m in love with you-
*1000 swords pierce through him. A dragon tries to eat his remains but spits them out*
We hope Ed returns to Twitter as his fans need him, perhaps Maisie Williams (who is a big Sheeran fan) would persuade him to do it for all of us.
But one thing everyone is asking is if Ed Sheeran’s character was a Lannister soldier, what happened to him when Dany’s orchestrated a massive assault riding on Drogon along with Dothraki horde slaughtering Lannisters and Tarly armies. He was last seen eating rabbit meat at Riverrun. Here’re some of the latest tweets on him:
Wonder if Ed Sheeran was on that battlefield singing I see fire #GameOfThrones
So if Ed Sheeran was a Lannister soldier, does that mean he’s now a ginger crisp? #GameOfThrones
SOS did Ed Sheeran die in that battle scene? Lmk kinda worried #GameOfThrones
As more and more fans started wondering about his character’s fate, Mashable reached out to the director of the episode Mark Shakman, he said:
The idea behind the question is an interesting one and I think the earlier scene that was so great with Arya meeting those Lannister soldiers, where we humanize what those Lannisters are like, that they’re generous with her, only helps this sequence because it helps you feel for the men who are shaking in terror as their death is upon them. I don’t think literally those soldiers were there.”
His comments would come as a relief to Ed Sheeran fans as the topography of Westeros suggest that those soldiers were not marching across the Reach with Jaime Lannister. When he was asked as to where were they heading, he said to the North in the aftermath of Arya’s massacre. He said:
“There’s been some trouble with the Freys up at the Twins. So, we’re part of the army that’s been sent to keep peace.”
This particular group of soldiers was going to fix the chaotic situation at the Riverlands to honor the pact between Lannisters and the Freys. Although our melodious soldier has been saved this time, if Dany’s terrifying reign continues, we can’t guarantee if he would be alive and join Night’s King army.
