Superman vs Martian Manhunter: Which one is better?
The most even match-up between the strongest DC characters would be the battle of the aliens, the Kryptonian and the Martian. The Death-Battle between Man of Steel and the sole survivor of Mars would be a treat to watch if it ever happens.
Krypton’s last survivor Kal-El, son of Jor-El arrived on earth as a baby when Krypton was destroyed. He was raised on a farm in Kansas by the name of Clark Kent, Son of Jonathan and Martha Kent. As he grew older, he came to realize his powers and what he could do for the people of earth with them. He possesses Super-Strength, Super-Speed and agility, heat vision, freeze breath, X-ray vision and the ability to fly at speeds much faster than a speeding bullet. His only weaknesses are Kryptonite which weakens his Kryptonian cells and could kill him and also magic.
J’onn J’onzz was the sole survivor of the planet Mars when it was attacked. He possesses a wide variety of abilities native to the Green Martian race such as superhuman strength, durability, flight, regeneration, shapeshifting, intangibility, invisibility, telepathy, telekinesis, extrasensory input, and optic blasts. Many of his powers resemble those of Superman.
Superman vs Martian Manhunter: Battle of The Aliens
Well, in a long drawn out battle with Superman fighting at his maximum, he could destroy the Manhunter. But if we consider the variety of powers the Martian possesses, he would surely be able to take down the Man of Steel. The Manhunter would use his tactical genius and his intangibility and could easily take down Superman. Also, he could use his telepathy and shape-shifting to trick Superman in some way. Superman himself once said of him:
“He is the most powerful being on the face of the Earth.”
So, to conclude, Superman would give a very tough fight to the Martian Manhunter but at the end, the Martian would surely emerge victoriously.
