As we are inching closer to the release date of Spiderman: Homecoming, the hype, and levels of excitement are sky-rocketing. Given the first reactions are very positive, it looks like all the hard work and dedication of Tom Holland and entire cast has paid off. The widespread consensus is that the movie has exceeded expectations of critics and will be another massive blockbuster Marvel movie. Some are even calling it “the Perfect Spiderman”.
The movie is based on “Spiderman Homecoming” storyline from the Marvel Comics launched in the 1990’s and set in the world post the events of Captain America Civil War. Well, the last thing you should do before going to the theaters is this amazing 4-minute clip released by First Tube YouTube channel, if you are still not sold by the trailers.
In this clip, Peter Parker is seen making a video documentary using his phone of his adventures with Tony Stark as Civil War events unfold before his eyes. He is with Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) which leads to the back-seat conversation teased many times in the trailers. We also see an upgraded Iron-Man suit in the clip.
Robert Downey Jr. in an interview with News Corp Australia Limited praised Tom Holland and said:
“Tom is the perfect man for the job. He’s enthusiastic, bright and gifted, a very physically talented guy by virtue of his dance and acrobatic background.”
“He has just the right combination of elements required to bring a new take on the character.”
Although Tony Stark is part of the movie, the clip makes it amply clear that it is a Spiderman movie not Iron Man 4 with Peter Parker. All thanks to the landmark agreement between Marvel and Sony Pictures for revitalizing the beloved superhero. The movie stands at 93% currently at Rotten Tomatoes making it highest ever since Spiderman 2.
