5 Most Unnecesary Deaths In Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones is one of the best TV shows that have ever aired on T.V. Not only that, but the deaths of the show are called the best to take place ever, even with that much love for the deaths, some deaths on the show have been nothing but boring or needless, here is a list of some of the them:

Tywin Lannister

Best Game of Thrones Moments

A phenomenally written character, who can’t be said to be evil but in today’s date, he would have been a great entrepreneur who held nothing first but his family. How he died was pretty stupid and a disgrace to his character. As he, the Hand of the King was shot with a crossbow by his own son, while on the pot.

Lyssa Arryn

Lyssa Arryn was a straight-faced bitchy character and nothing less than that. The sister of the dead Catelyn Stark and the wife of the former Hand of the King, Jon Arryn, who she helped get murdered in order to marry Petyr Baelish was killed by the very same man she had planned to marry. She was thrown by him out of the Moon Door of her own kingdom.

Tommen Baratheon

This character had ton die in the Game of Thrones, there was not a chance that such a pure hearted soul, who was given the mantle of the King of the 7 nations could ever survive a world as devious as Game of Thrones. Tommen, after seeing how his mother murdered the entire audience in the Sept of Baelor which also included his wife, Margery got fed up with his life and jumped out of his room. Truly a King’s Landing.

Jojen Reed

Jojen Reed, the brother of Mera and Bran’s accomplice when the three along with Hodor are going to see the Three Eyed Raven. After reaching the place where the Raven is, he is stabbed in the gut by Whites, after which his sister slits his throat, in order to spare him pain, after which, Leaf one of the ‘Children of the Forest’ throws a bomb at him so that he doesn’t return as a White.

Barristen Selmy

Game of Thrones

Okay, this has to be the stupidest death of the show. Ever. Barristan Selmy is one of the most important characters in the books. He served as the Lord Commander of the Kingsguard at the time of Mad King as well as Robert Baratheon and was an exceptional swordsman and an honorable man. He was needlessly killed foolishly by the hands of the Sons of the Harpy.
