The life of Avengers is really tough and full of life-threatening dangers, but that is not just limited to the extent of the characters in the movie, it is also applicable to the actors who are playing it.
Actors are really prone to injuries when they do their own stunts in movies, and we know that the almost the whole cast of Avengers does their stunts themselves with only using doubles for the toughest scenes.
Last year while filming the helicopter scene in Civil War, Chris Evans used up all of his strength and pulled something in his shoulder and still he shot the rest of the movie with a sour painful shoulder. This year on the set of Infinity War too, a member of the Avengers got Injured for real while doing his stunts for the movie.
Hawkeye Actor Jeremy Renner told the audience in a recent press conference at a film festival that he “broke his arms” while performing a stunt for the upcoming Avengers movie. He did say that it will not cause any delays in the movie or affect his job in any way.
“I’m sort of a problem solver, you know. There will be an affect to it, but it won’t stop me from doing things that I need to be doing, I’ll heal fast. I’m doing everything I can to heal faster.” Renner said.
Well, the actor is currently working on a different movie which is not an action movie which is not related to Avengers or Marvel, so he is overcoming his injury during the new film.
“I’m doing a job that isn’t really requiring a ton of stunts: It’s not an action movie, it’s a comedy — it just happens to have a few stunts in it. So I don’t have to beat a whole lot of people up or do anything crazy. So it won’t really affect my job… It affects how I get dressed in the morning. I can’t tie my shoes, but outside of that and everything else I can kind of get by.”
We have not spotted Renner in the recent set photos, so possibly he will be fighting only by Captain America’s side after the events of Civil War. We hope he recovers quickly and gets back for the movie as soon as possible.
