Black Panther made his debut in the Marvel cinematic universe in the Captain America Civil War, he is played by famous actor Chadwick Boseman. His native name is T’Challa, son of King Ta-Shaka, who lost his life at the hands of Winter Soldier during Civil War. He is a brilliant strategist, scientist, tactician with a hybrid fighting style incorporating acrobatics and animal mimicry. He wears a suit made of Vibranium (world’s strongest metal) which is used to make Captain America’s Shield as well. He is also called as “King of the dead” in latest Marvel comics, which gives him access to all the experiences and wealth of knowledge of the previous Black Panthers.
Marvel Studios recently signed Ryan Coogler (of Creed fame) to direct the Black Panther solo movie, he will be the first ever Black person to have got such an opportunity. The plot will focus on how Black Panther deals with the aftermath of Civil War and his ascendancy to the throne. According to Ryan, he may well have studied the works of Howard Stark or Hank Pym which he would later use it in Wakanda.
Recently, the teaser trailer for the Black Panther solo movie was released and it is already ruling the internet. Till now, fans have been speculating on the big villains of the movie, but the trailer has confirmed that it will be Erik Killmonger to be played by Michael B. Jordon and Andy Serkis who played Ullysses Klaue in the Avengers: Age of Ultron will reprise his role and join forces with Killmonger to challenge the throne of T’Challa. Moreover, the famous all-female warrior group known as Dora Milaje from the Marvel comics could be seen protecting the King from all possible threats. Also, one could see Martin Freeman who is playing a Black Panther sidekick Everett K. Ross. Well, one thing is for sure that there will be a BLOODBATH!
