Is X-Men The Next Superhero Team To Enter Space?

The X-Men May Be The Next Team To Enter Space. Here’s Why:

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been many things to the world of films. Since the Marvel Universe in the comic book was so wide, no one dared to imagine until MCU, to give exposure to the cosmic and the multi-verse of the universe. Characters from Guardians Of The Galaxy and Doctor Strange have showcased a new aspect of Marvel that is fast becoming an important part of the entire Universe.

MCU is not the only one who seems to be exploring the Marvel comics. 20th Century Fox’s latest picture X-Men: Dark Phoenix, if anything like its title has been speculated to be focusing its aim into space. As a lot of the Dark Phoenix comic books featured the character jolting through unknown space. When Screenrant interviewed producer Hutch Parker, they got some tidbits that may just point to the cosmic direction.

When the site asked if Dark Phoenix (the film) was going to include the inter-galactic part of Marvel’s Universe, the producer did deny it. He said “That is certainly a possibility. That is certainly a possibility. Yes.” He also talked at length about the difference between Phoenix and the other previous movies. Parker said:

“We’re very aware of the challenge that those movies pose and what it sort of demands of us as storytellers mining, again, one of the great comic runs in The Dark Phoenix Saga. Our hope and expectation is to try and do something that feels different, that takes the audience into a different tone and a different sense of cinematic style that is appropriately suited to the story we’re telling.”

Dark Phoenix will reportedly be focused on Jean Grey’s evolution into Phoenix and Dark Phoenix. Grey has been known to be the most powerful mutants. X-Men: The Last Stand had been the last film to include Dark Phoenix but unfortunately, fans were disappointed with the complete desecration of the character.
