10 Marvel and DC Superheroes Who Are Actually Super Villains

As they say, nobody is perfect, we all have our inner demons. Sometimes these good heroes also cross the line and do things that we don’t even expect from villains. In this post, we are talking about the heroes we believe in, the traditional good guys. However, these heroes have an evil side too. Here we are listing down some of the superheroes from both Marvel and DC who actually are super villains too: (Comics only)

SUPERHEROES TURNED SUPER VILLAINS:

1. Green Arrow

In the comics (and in TV series too), Oliver Queen is hunting down Prometheus. Prometheus was his greatest foe. When he eventually captures Prometheus he puts an arrow in Prometheus’ head and it is revealed he always liked hunting.

2. Nick Fury

Nick Fury has crossed the lines many times. Call it a duty, call it his ego. In the comics, he tries to do something shady to protect the planet from lethally strange villains, which ends up with his death and his allies losing faith and dishonoring him.

3. Daredevil

In the comics, Daredevil becomes the leader of the Hand. He starts a killing spree and starts murdering his enemies in cold blood. He becomes judge, jury, and executioner.

4. Bishop

In the comics, Bishop betrays the X-Men, kills Professor X and embarks upon a mission to kill Hope Summers and Cable. He even commits a genocide on this evil mission.

5. Black Bolt

Black Bolt in a comic, explodes a T-Bomb to kill Thanos’ son, Thane and then releases Terrigen in earth’s atmosphere leading to war between Inhumans and mutants on earth.

6. Batman

Batman is a master strategist and genius tactician. He once set Martian Manhunter on fire, blinded Kyle Rayner and used Superman’s X-ray vision against him.

7. Captain America

In the comics, Captain America was revealed to be a member of HYDRA and he decides to spread this secret empire of HYDRA everywhere. He has poisoned, murdered and done so many wrongs.

8. Namor

He used violence and terror to achieve his end goals. Though a beloved leader to the people of Atlantis, Namor lost the trust of Captain America and Human Torch due to his violent methods.

9. Cyclops

Always a good guy, Cyclops turned a military hunter due to several of the events which happened. These included M-DAY, M-POX and the War with the Inhumans.

10. John Constantine

SUPERHEROES TURNED SUPER VILLAINS

Constantine has been a complicated superhero. He has always fought the war between ultimate fight and ultimate darkness. Often succumbing to the latter. His intentions aren’t evil, but his powers put him on the brink of becoming a villain.

These instances were picked from comics. This necessarily doesn’t mean your favorite superheroes are super villains!
