This MAJOR Movie Star Wants To Be In Gotham City Sirens

Gotham City sirens have been gaining a lot of attention, especially after it was announced to be the banner for Harley Quinn’s rumored solo feature. Suicide Squad director David Ayer has been attached to direct the upcoming film, while Margot Robbie, the actress who plays Harley Quinn will take on the role of producer as well as being a star.  It seems like Ayer may not be the only Suicide Squad member to have an interest, another major Squad member also wants in on the movie.

Will Smith made his debut in DCEU along with Margot Robbie in Suicide Squad  and it seems like the two actors have gotten along like a house on fire, as the actor also wants to be a part of Harley’s solo movie. The actor talked about his interest in becoming a part of Gotham City Sirens in an interview with MTV.Smith claimed, “I’d definitely love to be in it. I love Margot Robbie, I would do, like, anything she wants to do.”

Smith and Robbie had already made a movie together prior to Suicide Squad called Focus in 2015, so the two actor seem to have a comradeship in films. The actor’s wish, however may not be in the plans of DCEU. Deadshot, the character Smith plays in Suicide Squad has also been rumored to be getting his own solo feature as well as a Squad sequel being in the works. A busy schedule that may not allow the actor to squeeze in his character in the all female supervillain movie.

Smith’s appearance in the movie may also be a distraction for the plotline, given the superstar status that the actor holds with a global audience. Audiences will only be introduced to this new character and may not need the distraction of a bigger name in the project than Robbie herself.
