Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige confirmed the Vulture rumor in an interview with Toronto Sun. Feige revealed the information while discussing the list of villains that Marvel had lined up for their upcoming movies:

“We’ve had a wish list and most of them in the near-term are coming together. Cate Blanchett is playing Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. Michael Keaton’s Vulture in Spider-Man is something. And of course, finally, we’re showcasing Josh Brolin’s Thanos (in Avengers: Infinity War). We’re looking forward to that very much.”

Vulture is one of the big villains of the Spider-Man comics. Vulture aka Adrian Toomes is a former engineer who designed a special harness like wings that allows him to fly. He is an older villain than others in the comics, but he has proved himself to be a stronger than most men his age because his harness granted him super strength. He has been in every incarnation of The Sinister Six. Micheal Keaton would make a great Vulture as he has proved his chops for playing ruthless characters in past roles like Beetlejuice and Birdman. Keaton has also a history with comic book characters, having played Batman in Batman returns.
