Marvel Infinity Stones: Here’s What You Need To Know About Them
The Collector from Guardians Of The Galaxy said,” Before creation itself, there were six singularities. Then the universe exploded into existence, and the remnants of these systems were forged into concentrated ingots… Infinity Stones. These stones, it seems, can only be brandished by beings of extraordinary strength. These carriers can use the stone to mow down entire civilizations like wheat in a field.” From Phase 1, movie audiences have seen the Marvel superheroes battle some scary looking villains for some very powerful stones. With the amount of time that has passed, it can be hard to keep track of which stone is the Mind gem or the Power gem as they divert from the comics.

The Space Stone:
The Space Stone’s power is to open portals from one world to another.It was introduced as The Tesseract in Captain America: The First Avenger. It made an appearance again in The Avengers, becoming the power source that Loki used to teleport the Chitauri army and control Hawkeye to become his minion. Thor took the Tesseract back to Asgard for safe keeping at the end of The Avengers.
