In season 2, when Prof. Wells was trying to recreate conditions of a particle accelerator explosion to restore Flash powers, accidently Wally and Jesse got exposed to the radiation. But they didn’t immediately become a speedster, which puzzled all of us. The show has already unveiled the first look of Wally West as the Kid Flash, but he is not a speedster post-Flashpoint timeline.
The famous twitter account Canadagraphs (associated with the Flash) claimed they saw the actress Violet Beane who plays Jesse Wells on the sets wearing a superhero costume. This is a very trustworthy source as they revealed Kid Flash way before it was officially announced. It triggered a speculation among fans that she is either Earth-2 Jesse Quick who will return to Central city through a multi-verse or she is the result of Flashpoint. Well, she will return with Wells in the next episode having speed powers and aid Team Flash take down a meta-human named who can control metal. Her name is Magenta who is apparently a tiny, adorable girl throwing cars around and lifting ships like Magneto.
In comics Flash, Jesse Quick is an alter-ego of Jesse Chambers, an extraordinary woman with super-speed powers. She is part of a multi-generational superhero family. She is the daughter of Golden age superheroes – Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle and would later adopt her mother’s name. Her father owned a multi-billion dollar corporation called QuickStart Enterprises which was like an enhanced version of Mercury Labs. She also has the gift to fly and she is blessed to have her mother’s qualities like sonic vibrations, superior hand to hand combat abilities apart from super speed force. In the past, she has been a member of the Flash family, the Conglomerate, the Justice League and the Justice Society of America. #RunJesseRun
