How About Challenging Truth?

The change of colors that we see in the sky throughout the day is a proof that nothing in this world is constant or permanent; some had argued. The nights that have passed since then have made me wonder if that was really true. I remember staying up all day and all night for such a long time, trying to find some proof and base to that.

Not more than a week, later, though, I found some base to my contradiction and defiance in the statement I had heard.

Every morning, as we wake up, we see a beautiful skyline that gets lost in the brightness of the sun and the clouds that overpower the world. Gradually, the colors keep changing, as if it is some live show of lights being controlled by a pair of invisible hands up there. Every evening, we see a new shade, a new phase to what we call “the beauty of the sky.” The sky simply turns dark after a certain point and hides all of its tricks behind the dark curtain.

But, the stars? What about them? Do they ever disappear? I don’t think so. They are permanent. The pole star, the constellations that we have known to exist for so long. Each and every strain of light that we see up there is all about being who you are, isn’t it? I mean they prove it that they will all be there , no matter what. They prove to be permanent, to be constant, regardless of the bright sunshine that blinds us or the dark curtain of the night clouds that close the doors to the beauty we admire and await. They just tend to be a little playful and hide themselves at times.

They prove that no matter what, there still remain certain exceptions to the truths of the world and serve as the evidence and base for the people like us, the ones who are still trying to understand if there isn’t anything that’s permanent, or probably, we’ve all been the honest ones to believe that there still exists love in the beautiful world we all live in.

Stars, are proof that the colors might change but the canvas will always be the same.
