Marvel Phase 3: It’s going to be one hell of a RIDE!

Let me begin by clarifying what exactly comprises of Marvel Phase 3 and how it came to be – Marvel set a time period of dissonance generated from the aftermath of Ultron’s attack on Earth. With this chaos, we saw the Avengers team break up while adding new characters to this phase like Spider-man, Doctor Strange, Wasp and Captain Marvel, originally started in Phase One by introducing Thanos and his infinity gems.

Captain America: Civil War – May 6, 2016

Phase 3 officially started with Captain America: Civil War, the movie pretty much picks off from where it left off in Avengers: Age of Ultron with Steve Rogers leading the team to safeguard humanity. After a social collateral damage, the team gets under political pressure to instill a system of accountability by a governing body. With this we see Avengers break up into two teams led by Steve Rogers and Tony Stark respectively. Where Steve wants free Avengers and Stark wants to support the government.

Doctor Strange – November 4, 2016

The movie had some mystical look with a mix of matrix and inception, where reality is being altered, and yes, we saw one of the infinity gems – The Eye of Agamotto in the movie and supervillain Dormammu. And at the end, we saw Dr. Strange and Thor sitting in the New York’s Sanctum Sanctorum having a short discussion which ends with Dr. Strange looking interested in helping the god of thunder.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – May 5, 2017

Next spring, we would get to see the next big movie Guardians of the Galaxy, pretty sure Thanos would not paly a huge part in this film, especially not as big as he was in the first Guardians film. The movie would mostly comprise of tracking down Peter Quill’s father. Also going ahead, Peter Quill will be an honoree Avenger in Infinity War.

Spider-Man: Homecoming – July 7, 2017

Another solo movie that promises to be a huge success is Spider-Man: Homecoming. Originally, this movie was supposed to come in the trilogy, however, for now, the production is only concentrating on the first one.

The movie would screen Michael Keaton as Vulture, Tony Stark acting as Spider-Mans mentor and providing him with high-tech spidey gadgets with an upgraded suit for Spiderman, and maybe just maybe a glimpse of Captain America. Spiderman being a big fan of Captain America, they just might find a way to make it work.

Thor: Ragnarok – October 25, 2017

Getting into some serious business, Thor: Ragnarok is all about destruction and rebirth, so we can expect a whole lot of things happening in the movie.

The main villain of the movie would be played by Cate Blanchett (this ought to be exciting), also joining the team would be Mark Ruffalo playing the role of Hulk, with this, we would also get to see Thanos.

What’s left to see is, if Heimdall has the Infinity gem which gives him the power to see across time and space, with this there is a huge possibility that we would get to see some new Easter eggs in the movie especially in Odin’s vault. We may also see Dr. Stange’s involvement in the movie.

Black Panther – February 16, 2018

Coming to Black Panther, so far Black Panther has been outselling the Avengers and pretty much everyone in the Marvel Universe. Here’s what’s going to happen, the infinity war would be the jumping point for Black Panther with Thanos assembling the infinity gauntlet.

The Avengers: Infinity War – May 4, 2018

So by the time we are in Infinity war II, we get to see Avengers fix everything and how they move on to get the gauntlet off Thanos’ hands. In Infinity War I, we know that Captain America and Iron Man will reconcile and Spiderman would officially be a part of the Avengers.

Ant-Man And The Wasp – July 6, 2018

While we are at it, we would see Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne return again, and this time, Van Dyne takes on the mantle of The Wasp. We would get to see a few flashbacks in the movie, and the big thing would be Sharon Stone playing the role of Van Dyne.

Captain Marvel – March 8, 2019

As we slowly move towards the end of phase 3 we have Captain Marvel since the movie is not scheduled to release until 2019, we would not get to see her until Infinity war I in 2018. We are guessing she would be a mix of Back Panther and Spiderman kind of character.

Avengers 4 (Infinity War Part 2) – May 3, 2019

Finishing off Phase 3 would be Avengers 4, releasing right after Captain Marvel. Where we see the end of Thanos and the Infinity Stones.
