The Game of Thrones season 6 seems to be moving ahead at a breakneck speed. We have already seen the first six episodes full of violence, intrigue, mystery, and sex or VIMS factor as I call it, and there are four more to go.
The title of episode 7 is “Broken Man” whose synopsis is as follows:
“The High Sparrow eyes another target. Jaime confronts a hero. Arya makes a plan. The North is reminded.”
The fans are very much hoping for the return of the Hound/Sandor Clegane in this particular episode, as Ian McShane who maybe playing Septon Maribald, a character from “A Feast for Crows” nursing Gravedigger/Sandor Clegane back to health who is living off a new identity. The High sparrow will continue to play his political games, Jaime will confront Blackfish Tully in the Riverlands, Arya is done playing a faceless, nameless person and is ready to chart her own destiny.
The title of episode 8 is “No One” whose synopsis is as follows:
“Tyrion finds cause for concern. Cersei prepares for the worst. Sansa takes control. Arya is not alone.”
Tyrion is right when he says that he knows things, which is why Varys brought him into the Meereen to help Daenerys win the Iron Throne. He seems to have sensed a growing threat from Sons of the Harpy or something else that could jeopardize the future course of events. Cersei is on the brink of collapse, she is not thinking straight and may lose it all. Sansa will play game of thrones in the way no one can predict. It’s my hunch that all the things that Arya went through were foreseen by Jaqen H’ghar and it was all a big test.
The title of episode 9 is “Battle of the Bastards” whose synopsis is as follows:
“Ramsay surprises his audience. Jon retaliates. Dany is true to her word.”
In this episode, we will see the two forces battle it out for the Winterfell. On one side there are Boltons, Umbers, Karstarks, possibly Manderly, on the other side there are Wildlings, House Mormont, Blackfish Tully forces, possibly Knights of the Vale. Dany will prepare to march across the narrow sea and conquer Westeros.
The title of episode 10 is “The Winds of Winter” whose synopsis is as follows:
“A queen comes forth. Euron reveals himself. Brienne meets a friend turned foe. King’s Landing awaits justice. The Night’s Watch gathers.
The title of the episode is same as the title of the next “Song of Ice and Fire” book by George R.R Martin. We are likely to see Trial by Combat which will be called by Cersei and her champion will be Mountain. Who will be the other guy?
