Post Credit scenes from the X-Men: Apocalypse, and what comes next?

For a fan who can’t get enough of X-Men, can look forward to two new versions of the series with Wolverine 3 and future X-Men series after we discuss some of the post credit scene from the X-Men: Apocalypse. Setting a plot for the next X-Men series, where we would see some new mutants and old characters manifest on screen, FINALLY! Especially the ones that we’ve heard a lot about, like Mr. Sinister, Gambit, Cable and of course the much talked about X-23.

So here’s what we have from the last X-Men: Apocalypse. We finally got to see how Wolverine escaped from the Weapon X. Where Wolverines skeleton was attached to the adamantium, the program that was overseen by William Stryker. Logan was set free by the young Jean Grey and was unleashed on Williams’s soldiers killing them all. William then goes on to find the much wanted Wolverines vial of blood marked as “Weapon X”. Stryker sticks this vials in his briefcase labelled ËSSEX CORPS. Surprise Surprise! The briefcase that is named as ESSEX CORP is originally named after Nathaniel Essex, a.k.a. Mister Sinister.

The sample being damaged and not able to salvage the white chromosome, after a few attempts they decide to make a female clone called X-23. X-23 inherits all the characteristics of Wolverine including retractable claws not only in her hands but also on her feet, regenerating body parts and superhuman strength. X-23 is also given a skeleton of adamantine. If the rumors are to go by then we can see X-23 in next year’s Wolverine 3.

Moving on to a brief history of Nathaniel Essex, or popularly known as Mister Sinister, made his first appearance in 1987 in the comic book, Uncanny X-Men #221. A 19th-century human scientist who belonged to Victorian England, he was obsessed with Darwin’s theory of the new evolution of humans by natural selection. It is said that here Mr. Sinister had an encounter with Apocalypse where he was genetically altered, giving him the ability of telekinesis, mind manipulation, shapeshifting, energy projection, regeneration and more, making him one of the most dangerous villains of all times.

With a tiny glimpse shown of Mr. Sinister in the X-Men: Apocalypse, we can expect the next X-Men series plot to revolve around him as the main villain along with Gambit and Cable (son of Cyclops) on his team calling themselves as the “Marauders”.

We can also expect to see Mr. Sinister in Wolverine 3 where they create X-23 and also in the next series of the X-Men. If our guesses are correct, then Mr. Sinister would go on to be a strong character who would stick around for a long time for some of the future X-Men series.
