Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 3: Will Director Coulson Assemble Secret Warriors to take down In-humans?
Finally, the endless wait of Marvel fans for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is over, it’s set to resume on March 8, 2016 on ABC Network. The season 3 has gone to a whole new level with a script that weaves elements of ancient history, iconography, anthropology, science all rolled into one. The genesis of H.Y.D.R.A was revealed in the most stunning fashion possible, with insane twists and turns tumbling from all sides. It was created with a sole purpose to engineer return of its founder who was the first inhuman to have ever walked on earth, he was destined to rule but banished to another planet through a portal. For thousands of years, different heads of H.Y.D.R.A from Red Skull to Baron Strucker tried to send men to bring him back but failed in their mission.
The latest teaser trailer more or less confirms the secret warriors plot from the comics in the remaining episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season 3. We saw in the last episode Ward is possessed by some kind of demon, in comics it’s known as Hive, created in a lab to physically embody all of Hydra’s ideals. Ward is now the amalgamation of all beings who have been sacrificed in the pursuit of bringing the beast back through a portal. Consider him as the most powerful H.Y.D.R.A weapon now, which will compel Coulson to put together an elite team of secret warriors led by Daisy.
The studio is planning a crossover of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D TV show and Captain America Civil War movie in a big way, unlike last time with Age of Ultron. Well, let’s sit back and enjoy. #HailHydra
