The last week’s episode titled “Among Us Hide” of the season 3 was considered to be one of the most suspenseful and gripping in the show’s history. We learnt about the Lash’s real identity – Dr. Andrew Garner was revealed to be the blood-thirsty monstrous inhuman who is killing other in-humans. Baron Von Strucker’s (former Hydra head) kid Werner Von Strucker told Agent May that her husband is Lash in his dying moments. The fans were excited to see this insane twist to the story, they thought that he has a bigger agenda, but the latest episode “Chaos Theory” seems to have abruptly ended Dr Garner’s character arc. Many analysts are saying that it was always meant to be like that, Lash was only a villain for few episodes, the big baddie is Grant Ward who is hell-bent to cut off the head of S.H.I.E.L.D i.e Phil Coulson.

Dr. Andrew confesses that he is Lash:
When Melinda pushes Andrew hard to tell her the truth, he revealed that when he accessed Jayine’s register where she kept the genealogy data of in-humans, he was infected by terrigen bomb but survived and felt strong urge to kill in-humans. When A.T.C.U and Coulson’s team started to converge on him, Melinda shot him multiple times and put him in the containment unit and it’s over.
Ward is the Big Baddie:
It’s clear that Ward is planning something big to crush S.H.I.E.L.D forever. He intend to target its boss – Phil Coulson and finish him for good.
Rosaline and Phil are a romantic couple:
Phil and Rosoline, heads of two agencies S.H.I.E.L.D and ATCU are now living in the same house like a couple.
Fitz found something to go to the other side:
Fitz is doing everything he can to be able to go to the other side without a monolith, he may have found an alternative way out to make that possible.
