Every girl dreamt of being a power puff girl while every other boy imagined being Ben10. Even after belonging to Stone Age these characters commanded extraordinary response of techno-savvy kids. The show also talks about family values, male and female roles in the house as well as amusing pets (that would have been) of the Stone Age. Bubbles, the blue puff girl; was all sweet and sugary. She was the sensitive one but was capable of fighting rage monsters with her ultrasonic voice. Last but not the least, buttercup was the spice girl of the trio. She was the tough and rough of the pact. The three girls demonstrated different girls existing in the society and their importance and need in the society. Popeye, the Sailor Man The unforgettable, best of all sailors in the world, our very own; “Popeye, the sailor man”. He taught us that your strength doesn’t lie in your physical appearance. The fragile looking sailor could fight the muscular Bluto and defeat him. His never ending love for Olive Oyl was also remarkable in spite of constantly berated by her. He also taught us to eat “SPINACH”, although I never got inspired much. Dexter’s Laboratory It was the first of the cartoon network’s cartoons, popularly abbreviated as Dexter’s lab. The genius was always found in his lab inventing something whereas his sister Deedee was always found disturbing him in his work. The popular tagline fits perfectly holding its true meaning in the context of the show “Sleep tight, America! Your fate lies safely in the hands of Dexter”. However, just like today’s parents, his parents also don’t have any clue of his activities, therefore, all kids relate to the show. Tom and Jerry “Big Tail, Little Tail chasing all around Cat and Mouse game never lets down.” Both the characters were admirably adorable. Their nuisance and petty fights were fun to watch. All the episodes, whether it was Tom falling for some beautiful molly, or jerry being friendly with the bulldog (spike) or the little chick, were filled with the amazing chase of the two. The show wonderfully depicted the relationship between a Cat and a Mouse.
