New No Way Home Deleted Scene Teases the Return of Tobey and Andrew

Spider-Man: No Way Home is absolutely one of the best projects featuring the titular hero. The exciting storyline and fanservice surely make it an interesting and exciting addition to the MCU while at the same time making for a good Spider-Man story. Even though it was theorized that we would get to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield reprise their roles as their Spidey’s, the movie still left us surprised. Fans wanted to know more about the process behind bringing these characters together and in the past few months, we did get to see that. But a No Way Home deleted scene featuring all three Spider-Men indicates an MCU return for Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.

No Way Home

One of the most essential updates in the MCU was definitely the news that we will be getting to explore the multiverse. Ever since hints for this event were being set by the franchise, fans started to imagine what we might get to see. The biggest hint was the appearance of Evan Peters as Quicksilver in WandaVision which ended up just being a massive tease for the fans. Later when No Way Home was announced fans started to expect that this movie will explore the multiverse in its own manner. The announcement that Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx will be appearing in the movie only made it more obvious.

Then there were wild theories about the return of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in the movie as their rendition of Spider-Man. With the release of the movie nearing, these theories started to increase in a crazy manner. At the same time, we would also get some interesting leaks that were supportive of the appearance of the two other Spidey’s. While some fans were taking this theory to be quite an obvious event, the movie did manage to surprise us with the moment where these characters did end up appearing in the MCU. This meant that despite the leaks and other things, the movie still managed to keep the impact of their appearance.

Possible Reunion For The Trio

At the end of the movie, Strange makes the move that allows everyone from across the multiverse to return to their own world. Each of the villains who had appeared was cured by the trio and now they were returning with a lesser chance of being dead in their own universe. Fans were left wondering if we will get to see these characters again now that they were given an interesting means to join the franchise. It seems that this is not really the end for the characters and there might be a lot more from these characters that we might get to explore going ahead.

According to an alternate ending to the movie, the trio of Spider-Man might have had a clear chance to reunite again. It was quite clear that the movie tried to make sure that we got most of the characters while keeping with the narrative. But a deleted scene from No Way Home clearly indicates that both Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire might end up appearing in the MCU again. The scene shows the trio saying their final goodbyes. Tom Holland’s Spidey quips, “I’ll see you later.”, to which Andrew Garfield’s Spidey replies, “You know where to find us.” Thus making sure that Holland can reach out to the two other Spidey’s and leaving this as an option for the franchise.

While this might sound exciting for fans, the complication around the ending of the movie might make it difficult for these characters to return. Now that Holland’s Peter Parker made sure that everyone across the multiverse forgets Peter, the other two Spidey’s might also have no memory of Peter. This could mean that they might also have forgotten the time that they spent together. But, this could also have another meaning where the other two Peter’s might be the only ones who know about Tom Holland’s Peter in the multiverse. Thus leaving an extra special chance for the reunion between the trio. We can only wait and see if this reunion actually works out in the future of the franchise.
