Netflix has now become a staple in our everyday life. With the advent of most streaming services and OTT shows entertainment has become more convenient than ever. Moreover, the existence of these platforms allows for quick and efficient delivery of content in a way that allows audiences to consume everything all at once. This kind of platform is both a boon and a bane. But these OTT services are the only way we get to see these shows at breakneck speed right through the comfort of our homes. Netflix leads the OTT industry. Fans love their content and they have a habit of creating cliffhangers at the end of every show/ movie. This is the most interesting part of their model because it makes the fans excited for Netflix upcoming movie sequels. We made a list of these coming out soon, take a look:-
365 Days Part 3 – Late 2022
365 Days was one of the raunchiest shows to ever grace the screen of our devices. This movie had one of the craziest plots of all the movies we have ever seen. Yet the sequel ergo 365 days: This Day failed to captivate fans. So I guess it was good that the third part of the movie was filmed with This Day. 365 Days Part 3 will release in late 2022.
Beverly Hills Cops 4 – TBA
Beverly Hills Cops 4 is one of the most interesting and funny franchises out there. The fourth movie has been in pre-production hell for quite some time. However, with the revival of Murphy’s career in the last few years, we have come to a point where Beverly Hills Cops 4 has become a reality. The movie’s release date is yet to be announced but we expect to see some great things from it.
Blade of The 47 Ronin – 2022/ 2023
47 Ronin is a peculiar movie about a lone samurai who unites the exiled Ronin to take revenge for their masters. The movie received great praise from the entire entertainment industry and Keanu Reeves’s acting was impeccable as always. 47 Ronin‘s sequel is expected to be released in Late 2022 or Early 2023.
Chicken Run: Dawn Of Nugget – 2023
Chicken Run was a funny movie about a flock of chickens trying to escape a farm. The second movie is supposed to start off with the Chickens having fulfilled their dream of freedom. But a new enemy seems to be threatening the existence of chickens in the world. Now, our protagonist chickens must break back in to save everyone.
Code 8: Part 2 – 2022
Code 8: Part 2 is supposed to come out in 2022. We say that because the movie has already completed shooting and is now in post-production. This movie features the Amell brothers who reprise their role from the first part and it also has one of the most interesting plots.
Enola Holmes 2 – 2022
Enola Holmes was one of the most interesting things to come out of this new flurry of Sherlock Holmes content we seem to be getting. The thing with that is that Sherlock’s content is only as good as their villain. Regardless of this fact, Enola Holmes 2 is expected to release in 2022.
Knives Out 2 & 3 -2022/2024
After the release of Knives Out, fans had been vying for a sequel for quite some time. Their wishes have been fulfilled since Knives Out 2 is already in post-production and slated for a 2022 release. Moreover, Knives Out 3 has also been announced and is expected to be released in 2024
Murder Mystery 2 – 2022/2023
Do you like slapstick comedy that seems really dumb but is actually very enlightening and intriguing? Then you will love Murder Mystery. This movie is one of the funniest things that Adam Sandler has ever been a part of. Now, we expect the release of the sequel in 2022/ 2023 to create the same chatter.
Red Notice 2 – TBA
What is even more awesome than Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, and Dwayne Johnson in the same movie? The fact that all three of them are participating in a heist together. We expect Red Notice 2 to be another one of these blockbusters.
