Top Gun 2 is one of those movies that we were convinced we were never going to see. The reason for our skepticism is the fact that the movie has been delayed numerous times. So much so, that we have had to convince and counsel ourselves into believing that it will come out one day lest we lose hope like everyone else. But the movie is finally releasing and the early reactions of Top Gun 2 call it absolutely terrific. In such a situation we cannot avoid the hype for much longer. Let’s take a look at what the critics had to say after they got to see the movie.

Erik Davis from Fandango called the movie absolutely terrific. He even went on to say watching this movie will be the best use of everyone’s time if they don’t have any other plans for The Memorial day weekend. We can certainly trust a man of his stature? Can’t we?

Steven from Collider was blown away by the production quality of the movie. He was amazed that the flying scenes were as good as they were. This implies that the movie will have a lot more fast-paced action than the audience had previously anticipated.
Best Movie In The Last 10 Years

Nikki from Fandango called the movie the best one in the last 10 years. That is a huge compliment considering the fact that this means that this movie is better than The Batman, Infinity War, and even Revenant. That is high praise indeed.

Scott from We Live Entertainment called the movie better than the original. He even said that the movie will make a lot of new fans and create a lot of hype around the franchise. Also, the new movie’s plot seems to be highly dependent on the first one, but that is not a surprise to anyone.

Drew Taylor from The Wrap and NY Times also commented on how this was the greatest sequel to a beautiful franchise. We do hope that we will see this franchise expanding over time. But with Tom Cruise having aged significantly, we cannot be sure if Maverick will be a part of the franchise after this.

This amazing movie seems to have won the hearts of critics and audiences alike. It is set to light the theatres ablaze with its absolutely terrific story and presentation.
