Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans To Reunite in this New Film…

The MCU is responsible for the career of several of the stars involved in the franchise. Some of the names associated with these projects have appeared in some other franchises but others only managed to showcase their talent using the MCU films. The Infinity Saga marked the end of the arc of certain characters. Amongst the ones that are considered to be major stars in the franchise who left MCU include Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans. The duo has appeared in a variety of projects following their MCU careers and each of them has been quite a successful entry. Now, Captain America and Black Widow stars, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans will be reuniting on screen for Jason Batman’s next directorial venture titled Project Artemis

Both the stars have been a part of the industry for quite a long time with a variety of projects where they featured in major roles. The duo even appeared together in the 2004 film The Perfect Score and then in the 2007 film The Nanny Diaries. They were mostly associated with comedies even though Evans has worked on a variety of superhero projects. The actor appeared as the Human Torch for the Fantastic Four films under Fox. But both the stars got worldwide acclaim and recognition for their appearances as significant characters in the MCU.

Both the stars have been a part of the franchise for a long time and they are a part of the original team of Avengers. Chris Evans joined the franchise with the 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger while Scarlett Johansson made her debut in Iron Man 2. Both of them were next seen together in the 2012 crossover entry The Avengers. This movie put them as the most essential characters in the franchise at that time. Black Widow even had a significant role in the Captain America sequel, Captain America: Winter Soldier. The duo was last seen together in Avengers: Endgame where they both left the franchise.

Johansson & Evans Will Reunite For Project Artemis

MCU stars Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans have signed on to reunite for an upcoming project. According to Deadline, the duo will be appearing in the new Jason Bateman movie Project Artemis. Apple TV+ has won the rights to the project for over $100 million following a bidding war. This clearly indicates that the project has a lot of hype and it might be an interesting venture for the director. Apple TV+ managed to earn major recognition during this awards season with the Best Picture win for CODA

The movie will be directed by Jason Bateman and written by Rose Gilroy. This is not the first movie directed by the Arrested Development star as he had directed two other films before including Bad Words and The Family Fang. While both the movies were a bit more simple it seems that Bateman will get a chance to show his chops with this project. Rose Gilroy is so making her debut in the process considering this is going to be her first project. There is no clear indication regarding the plot except for the report that it will be set against the Space Race.

Other Possible Chances Of A Reunion

This might not be the only movie that will see a reunion for the Avengers stars. There were rumors going around that Evans might be appearing in the Little Shop of Horrors remake back in 2020. Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson was the studio’s top choice for the female lead in the movie. But following that there has been no report regarding the project and these developments. Chris Evans will be seen reuniting with the Russo brothers for the upcoming Netflix film The Gray Man. Let’s hope that these two stars stay aboard the project as it would be interesting to see them reunite following their departure from the MCU.
