There are a lot of interesting projects set to come out this year from the MCU. Ever since their debut last year, we are going to get a lot more of the Disney+ shows this time around. While Moon Knight is set to come out soon, another exciting title is going to be the upcoming She-Hulk series. The latter would also mark the first time we will get to properly see Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner other than his appearance in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. But there are hardly any details available regarding the series and fans are wondering regarding the narrative. A new video might have spoiled the appearance of a surprising mutant in She-Hulk.

She-Hulk

According to Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, She-Hulk will be a 10-episode long legal comedy. Fans were able to notice that there are going to be a lot of fourth-wall-breaking jokes in the series. There are other major theories making rounds about the project considering details have been kept under wraps for the project. Fans got to see some very interesting people join in on the project as cast members. This is a clear indication regarding the absolute fun it’s going to be while giving us a chance to explore Bruce Banner’s character too. There are a lot of cameos rumored to be a part of the project.

According to a new detail, the series might mark an ending for the arc of Hulk himself. Mark Ruffalo talked about Tatiana Maslany’s character in the series in a recent interview. He stated:

Tatiana Maslany is frickin’ legendary as the She-Hulk. I’m passing the Banner onto her. There are some really good, funny, cool, long, long scenes between Professor and her. We’ve never really seen the Hulk interact with people the way he does in that show. It’ll be really interesting.

A new audition tape uploaded by actor Tom Archdeacon made it into the news recently. According to the dialogues, it seems as if it could be a tape for the She-Hulk, and the actor might playing a character who might be the antagonist in the show. The tape shows Archdeacon talking to two lawyers off-camera about divorcing his wife. As the first lawyer addresses him as Mr. Smith, Archdeacon corrects him by stating he prefers “Doctor Revive”. He explains that in order to end his previous relationships he would kill himself and then wait to regenerate and walk away as a whole man.

The transcript for the video goes as follows:

Female lawyer: “Are you really that afraid of confrontation?! Seriously?!

Client: “Come on, I-I thought lawyers weren’t supposed to be judgemental.”

Female lawyer: “Obviously, relationships can be hard, but there is also just basic respect!”

Mutant in She-Hulk

It seems that this character could actually be Mister Immortal. The self-proclaimed mutant has the ability to resurrect himself and heal from any death and had an interesting role in Marvel Comics. Two months back, there was actually a rumor that Mister Immortal will be making his MCU appearance in the Disney+ series. It would be interesting to see this character add to the comedic tone of the series.

The series will also feature Tim Roth as Abomination, following his reprisal of the role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Other people in the cast of the project include Jameela Jamil, Tim Roth, Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, and Josh Segarra, with Megan Thee Stallion. While there hasn’t been a confirmed release date for the series yet, She-Hulk will premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2022.
