How Much Each Avengers Star Earned From Avengers 1 To Endgame

When we talk about the actors involved in the MCU we can clearly see that this involves some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Each star associated with this vast variety of projects is almost known all across the world. In fact, the popularity of these stars has grown sufficiently after their appearances in these roles in the franchise. The very first major MCU team-up, The Avengers came out in 2012 and it was headlined by Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, and Chris Evans. These stars would later appear in the Avengers sequels which would all end up ranking in the top-15 highest-grossing films of all time. Let’s take a look at how much each Avengers star earned from the four Avengers films over the years.

Robert Downey Jr.

The Oscar-nominated actor portrayed the character for 11-years with the demise of the character in Avengers: Endgame. He was the very first actor to have initiated the franchise with his appearance in 2008’s Iron Man. The success of this movie actually allowed him to ask for $10 million upfront when he was asked to star in The Avengers which would later amount to $50 million due to the success of the latter movie. Each movie saw an increase in his salary as he would earn a total of $80 million for Age of Ultron and then more than $75 million for Infinity War. The same amount would be earned by him for his final appearance in Avengers: Endgame.

Mark Ruffalo

Avengers 4

Mark Ruffalo took over the role from Edward Norton as the latter had appeared in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk. The actor would make his debut in the MCU with The Avengers by earning a sum of $3 million. He would earn the same amount for the sequel to this movie Age of Ultron. With Infinity War, there would be some doubling in his salary as the actor ended up earning a sum of $6 million for the film. Even though the total amount that he earned for Endgame hasn’t been made public yet, it is assumed that it is in the range of his co-stars Evans and Hemsworth with $15 million.

Chris Evans

Even though the narrative sees him as the First Avenger, the actor would make his debut in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger. The actor who has been taking on various superhero roles before was paid just $300,000 for the role. But he would see a significant increase in the salary with his appearance in The Avengers a year later by earning $3 million. A similar increase would be seen for the actor in the sequel Age of Ultron with a total of $15 million. Even though he would see the same salary for Infinity War, Endgame saw his salary upgraded to $20 million.

Scarlett Johansson

Johnsson made her debut in the MCU with Iron Man 2 for which she earned a total of $400,00. But this was nothing compared to a low seven-figure sum that she earned for The Avengers. A major raise would be seen for the actor as she would end up earning a total of $20 million for Age of Ultron. The actor managed to earn $15 million upfront for both Infinity War and Endgame. It was later reported that she might have secured a sum of $35 million in total for Endgame based on factoring in the bonuses for the entry.

Jeremy Renner

Jeremy Renner had a very small appearance in Thor, where the actor was not given much chance to be explored. Later, we would see him make a proper appearance in 2012’s The Avengers for which he would take home a sum of $3 million. This sum was doubled up for his appearance in the sequel Age of Ultron with a total of $6 million being his salary. The character didn’t appear in Infinity War but managed to earn a sum of $15 million for his role in the final entry to the Infinity Saga, Endgame.
