Doctor Strange 2 TV Spot Reveals New Look At The Characters

With a variety of new characters making their appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness it might be the biggest event of the years. There are a lot of rumors regarding appearances in the movie and the latest trailer puts the focus on that. The Multiverse will actually pave the way for a variety of new variants making their appearance in the MCU. With the previous MCU entry indicating the variants of Spider-Man coming together, we are also going to see a lot of variants of Doctor Strange making their appearance in the upcoming movie. The new big game Doctor Strange 2 TV Spot gives us a much clearer look at all the variants of Doctor Strange and other characters.

Fans can now have a much clearer look at all the characters appearing in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with a 30-second clip that was released during the Super Bowl LVI. The clip is basically a montage of some of the most exciting moments from the movie and at the same time, it focuses primarily on the reveals and the characters. This only improves on the clip that we got to see from the post-credits scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

America Chavez played by Xochitl Gomez could be seen under attack from Shuma-Gorath, and the latter might be the reason Chavez ends up appearing in the MCU. This could actually be in continuation to the scene from the first trailer where the tentacled monster launches a bus at Strange and Chavez. Based on what we have seen so far this monster might not be the prime antagonist of the movie after all.

Another look at a mysterious character who seems to be attacking Wanda can be seen here with the design resembling Captain Marvel in the battle mode. This could actually be another Captain Marvel from the Multiverse who might be trying to stop Wanda from attacking the Illuminati. Some fans have also theorized that this could Tom Cruise’s Iron Man variant as he might be a part of the Illuminati himself.

Another moment from the trailer gives us a look at Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer wearing a uniform that might indicate she is a variant of the character from the MCU. This scene from the trailer also includes some other exciting details with America Chavez in a glass prison and one of the Ultron bots running by Palmer. There’s a chance that this could be a research facility that was experimenting on America Chavez after she got caught along with Strange to be summoned by the Illuminati.

Another interesting scene from the footage gives us a look at Scarlet Witch with the dark lines around her eyes that might mean that this could be her going against Strange. The trailer had indicated that she will actually go against Strange and here she can be seen around the shards of reality. This could also be one of those prisons that Strange Supreme could have created in order to stop her from causing the multiversal chaos.

So far, we were aware that we were going to witness three variants of Strange that included, Sinister Strange, Defender Strange, and the MCU  Sacred Timeline’s Doctor Strange. But this recent trailer took things to a whole new level with another variant making an appearance and it is none other than the Zombie Strange who had appeared in the Zombie episode of the Disney+ animated series What If…?. We had seen that even though in a dead state, this variant was able to use his powers, and that only means that things are gonna get way much more difficult for Strange.

A much clearer look at Defender can be seen in this footage that also shows us his costume. But there are two times this character appears in the clip and once he is seen battling someone but the other one shows him gravely injured and near-death. The latter was the version that we had seen before in the action figure leaks for the character.
